Well, almost as sticky as the last time I stayed. The floor & tables in the conservatory were all quite sticky, you had to peel the paper napkin from the table. Seriously, what on earth are you doing? I highlighted this last year, yet nothing's changed. The hair dryer in the room was just as gross as last year too. After using it, one hand only, you had to go and wash your hands thoroughly in the bathroom. This issue was also highlighted last year when I stayed. How hard is it to clean the hairdryer handle from time to time. I'm guessing no-one has bothered to clean them thoroughly for months, if ever. Lamp shades in the rooms. Hideous wooden things that are damaged & collect dust. Get rid of them & move on. I only ate in the restaurant once. My burger was bloody in the middle & swiftly returned to the staff. A replacement burger was provided that was damn near cremated. It's a burger. They are genuinely not difficult to cook correctly. I found somewhere else to eat on the second night. The breakfast seemed poorer quality. 'Cumberland' sausages you said, cheap sausages over spiced to the point of being inedible says I!. The food, and the quality of cooking, has definitely deteriorated since last year. Will I return? Well, unfortunately, it's perfectly placed for an annual event. Maybe I'll just bring some cleaning materials & eat elsewhere.

Booked an Accessible room, but wet room was ok not perfect if you was in a wheelchair toilet and basin to close, beds were to high for most although very comfortable i would say needs to be more accessible for wheelchair use food was excellent

The room and staff were amazing. The only issue was that there was no sound proofing so heard every step from upstairs. As well as same entry to both rooms and heard everyone the upstairs room left.

Clean hotel and restaurant , bar is very well stocked , only down side is closes too early on a Sunday .

A pleasant stay with easy carparking and good to have 2pm check in. Room clean and bed very comfortable.

Check in was very slow rang bell stood for 10 minutes with no answer, commenced check in, moved car to hotel side of building and then started process all over again Booking direct they offer better discounts as per card in room, tried via Green King app without success Could have stayed elsewhere with better views and breakfast included Choosing a place to stay, I will go past this one every time

Plenty of parking, easy check in and out, clean comfortable room. Ground floor room, window latch broken, couldn’t have window open as very windy. Good to have restaurant on site for breakfast and dinner

The staff make this place what it is. Super friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean and homely - not exceptional but perfectly good.

The rooms are a bit shabby but ok. The beds are comfortable (or at least mine was) and the breakfast was great. And they have EV chargers at very reasonable rates.

Plenty of free and safe parking. Friendly helpful staff at check in and checkout. Decent sized room, clean and comfortable. Overall good value for money.

Staff were amazing, location was great. The place itself isn’t bad. But the walls are so so thin you can hear everything the people staying next door are saying or doing. There was a lot of flys around the entrance of the door. Bar and restaurant was cheap and cheerful. Would I come back probably but not in a hurry.

Let down by the poor evening restaurant service

Sofa bed in the room to be used by our daughter was in very poor condition. It wasn’t made up on arrival and when the staff did come to make it it was obviously broken as she couldn't get it to stay open. On closer inspection the frame was all bent and was very uncomfortable for my young daughter.

A toilet flush issue on arrival at my room which I mentioned to reception on my way for dinner in the bar. A guy came and found me to say they were unable to fix it that evening and so would like to move me. He offered to move all of my bags while I finished dinner. I was so grateful after a very long drive that day. He was great at breakfast one morning too, really efficient and a credit to the team. All of the staff were lovely but I’d also call out a young lady at breakfast Wed, Thur, Mon - she was super polite and remembered my drink order. Little touches go a long way. The rooms were clean and spacious. Plenty of parking. Great location for the purpose of my visit

A very comfortable stay at this hotel, made all the better by a very pleasant, attentive and courteous team of staff throughout my stay. Not had great experiences at other Greene King Inns I've visited, but I'll have no hesitation in returning to The Cedars Inn again. Well done Cedars!

breakfast was not cooked .changed 3 times no heating..

I was a bit wary staying at a pub chain but any reservations (except that for my room) were quickly rendered moot when I entered the grounds. The property is set back from the main road with a good drive leading to several parking areas. After checking in I moved my car to the parking near the accommodation which was several buildings surrounding a courtyard area. My room was was nice and clean although I couldn't access the internet on my laptop for work. The bathroom was especially nice with a fantastic shower which I used after a nice, hour long walk around the area. The £108 I paid included the room, breakfast and also dinner which comprised of 3 courses. I only paid extra for drinks which constituted fantastic value for money. A great night's sleep was followed by a great breakfast leaving me very satisfied with my choice of destination.

Food was fine, usual pub fayre.
