The hotel is comfortable and clean. It's a old building and my bathroom could do with a bit of an update. The staff are very helpful and friendly. I ate at the hotel for a Sunday lunch, which was well cooked and generous. The breakfasts were amazing as well.

This rambling old building is close to the Quay, with its restaurants and boat tours. The bus and railway stations are 10-15 mins walk away. My bathroom had a large washbasin, the option of bath or shower, and constant hot water. Storage space was sufficient and there was a desk and chair. Breakfast was filling. There is a pleasant courtyard beside the building for drinks.

Friendly and efficient check in. Great food in restaurant. Wonderful old and historic hotel. Convenient location. Quirky layout - as befits age. Clean, great towels, excellent lighting, bed very comfortable. Very much like.

The competency and friendliness of the staff is exceptional from initial welcome, to cleaners, we had a lovely stay at the Antelope in fact this was our second visit, and wouldn't hesitate to stay again or reccomend. it's ideally placed or shops, quayside Nd transport links. Loads of top notch restaurants and pubs too makes it a great weekend away.

Friendly staff and a reasonably comfortable room but no hot water for our entire stay. Staff told us on arrival but said they were waiting for an plumber. Later we were told they couldnt fix it and as such, no hot water was available. We were unable to have a shower either on arrival after a 6hr drive or the following morning. Extremely disappointed.

Lovely staff, they are a credit to the hotel. Not a nice hotel though, poorly furbished rooms, dirty and very loud in the room. Needs a proper refurbishment

Good location, just 50m or so from the Quay front, great staff allround, but room was ok, but adequate only, for price charged. Dog friendly, which was critical for us, but £10 surcharge charged. Lack of hotel parking wasn't too much of an issue as large multistorey within c.400m, but does add any £10 cost to the visit

The property is in an ideal location for Poole Quay. It was clean and comfortable and the staff were friendly and helpful although not around a lot. The only drawback is having no parking, but we parked for the duration of three days in the Poole Quayside car park which was close by, and were able to pre-book a space. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay and we'll hopefully make a return visit next year.

I have stayed at the Antelope 3 times in total over the years. The food was great and the staff friendly and helpful. Hotel is looking like it needs a bit of TLC in the rooms. facilities are dated, radiators rusty, paintwork and carpets need work.

It was a basic room (hotel is old) but clean and close to the ferry dock and train station, both were about a 15 minute walk. The staff was excellent, very friendly and helpful. We were there only long enough to eat and spend the night as we were making our way from Guernsey to London.
