No one there spoke English was awful

Clean room. AC worked well. Staff didn't speak much English but I managed to get my requests understood.

Very clean and well located but quite run down and threadbare. No accommodation for disabled folks, and no clocks in rooms. One room had just an overhead light--no bedside lamp. The staff were very helpful and nice, but checking in was a challenge, as it was difficult to convey to the clerk that we had 2 rooms for 2 people.

Staff friendly & h er helpful

We stopped overnight in Lillooet on a road trip through British Columbia. Lillooet is a very small town without any of the known hotel chains. So needless to say, there are no 4 star accommodations. These are all mom and pop motels. That said, we were very happy that we chose Hotel DeOro. The check in was easy and our room was really good and clean. The AC worked perfectly, the bathroom was excellent, and the bedding was very comfortable. If you find yourself stopping in Lillooet, you will not regret staying in this little hotel.

We were running late for check in, and phoned the property to let them know that we would be late. A nice lady answered and advised me how we can check in late. We got to the property at around 9pm. There is a lady (with a heavy accent) at the front desk (different from the lady who answered the phone) and she told me that I should take a smaller room since we are only two people travelling and booked a two Queen size bed room. I told her that I booked the big room and already paid for it. Eventually she gave me the key and we were able to get to the room. There was not a word of welcome, and I certainly did not expect to be asked to check into the smaller room. Quite frankly I was disgusted. The room was big, bed was comfortable and we slept well.

I suppose the property is ok for the price. But, overall the property looks very tired and run-down, it was noisy, the room was tiny. The woman at the front desk could barely speak English and it was very difficult to communicate with her.

Pros: * The front desk staff were helpful(she did not speak English but she was kind enough to help) * The room was reasonably clean, although not perfectly clean. We did not use the blankets. * We enjoyed seeing wildlife nearby. Cons: * There was a strong smell of weed in the upstairs hallway of the hotel. * The city felt unsafe, especially at night. * Some vehicles were driving very fast at night and making loud noises while revving their engines.

A little old & tired but not too bad for the price. Bathroom had been renovated but there was no bathtub mat and the shower head should be upgraded to deliver equal water pressure.

No lamp beside the bed for reading. I had one in my van so hrought ut in. No plug in bathtub. I was hoping for a bath so showered. Other than that it was ok. Nice concierge.

Check in was fast and easy. Staff are friendly. Located walking distance to places to eat. There is a good coffee shop on site. It was perfect for our 1-night stay while traveling through on our road trip.

Clean, and approachable staff

Very nice and clean room at decent price.

The room was outdated but clean. The bed was very comfortable and QUIET. No noisy springs! The room had a useful microwave oven and a fridge/freezer. The air conditioner was in working order and fairly quiet. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Overall, I would definitely recommend and I will wouldn't hesitate to stay here on my next visit.

Shared kitchen helps and staffs are friendly. But needs to change the color and types of bedsheet and bed cover.

unmaned front desk after check in time. No hot water at peak times. Otherwise all was ok.
