Great stay.. surpassed all expectations

Glencoe Country b&b is a beautifully restored old house with tall ceilings and some vintage furniture. We stayed in the “blue room” which was very comfortable. The ensuite shower was great, with plenty of hot water. Irene’s breakfast was superb with plenty of cold items and cooked-to-order hot selections. We highly recommend a stay at the Glencoe Country B&B

Breakfast was exceptional.

The accommodation was excellent. The staff were very hospitable and welcoming. A cosy hot woodfire in the common lounge. A generous breakfast with a cooked option all included. Will recommend. Dot & Jan.

This B&B is 10 mins drive from Sheffield. It is a small farm with chickens running around everywhere. Nice gardens. The room was comfortable. The breakfast is extensive, lots of cereal, cake and fruit options as well as a full cooked breakfast.

What a great family run B&B. The rooms where spot on for us and the breakfast the Sunday morning was just what we needed to get the day started.

Glencoe is a lovely old house with spacious rooms and high ceilings. Irene was extremely welcoming and informative. The room was comfortable with a really comfortable bed. The ensuite was on the small size, but that is hardly surprising as the house would not originally have been built with one and it was certainly not a problem so long as there was only one person in it at a time. I wouldn't mark it down for that. Catering for breakfast was superb with no chance of leaving the table hungry. The guests sitting room was very comfortable. We would definitely recommend it to anyone.

Tremendous breakfast, a beautiful array of fresh fruit and full cooked breakfast was excellent. I would recommend staying there to anybody for the surroundings and hospitality. Highland cattle , ducks and lambs a delight to watch.

A quaint farming experience. Plenty of poultry and other livestock around farm. Green, clean and fresh. Friendly management and gorgeous room and bed. Faultless!

Arriving from the little ship 🚢 The spirit of tasmania, from Melbourne to Devonport, Tasmania, we always chose to stay at Glencoe. Each room is first class, warm, spotlessly neat and clean, with plush facilities and amenities. Breakfast is magnificent and Russ’s cheese platters which we always order ahead of our arrival for the evening, are legendary. Russ and Irene always make us feel very welcomed, and are warm and hospitable hosts.
