When I stayed with my husband and children, overall everything was ok.. From the c/i process all the FO staff were very friendly and helpful as well as the F&B staff for room service, restaurant and kitchen were very friendly.. It was very unfortunate when I wanted to order food at the pool bar (older male staff not young ones) the staff were unfriendly and discriminatory, the treatment was very different when serving foreign tourists, when I asked to request a menu, order a menu, ask about the menu and when paying was very unfriendly, no eye contact, no smile at all.. But when I noticed he (the staff) was very friendly with foreign tourists, laughed and when there were foreign tourists ordering he was very friendly and smiled. Incidentally, I also work in the hospitality sector and the F&B and FO sections also used to be in a Jakarta hotel and now I live in Bali, indeed we like to stay from one hotel to another when our children are on school holidays.. It is very unfortunate when the staff from other outlets are very friendly to guests but disappointed with the service by staff who are picky in serving.. Please improve again especially the service in the Pool Bar section so that local guests who stay do not feel discriminated against if necessary, training should be held on how to provide good service to all guests..
