Great location for its lovely view. The church bell ringing during the night was a bit inconvenient.

I was walking St Francis Way and stopped at Gubbio. A beautiful small city on the walk to Assisi. The hotel is excellent and the accommodations are superb. Breakfast is also superb. Nothing to complaint about.

I love this hotel. We stayed at Hotel Gattapone 4 years ago and were happy to return. The staff are helpful and friendly.

Very historic hotel. Great location and staff. The rooms are not updated but sufficient. Easy parking close by. We have stayed 3 times and will stay again!

A bit far and +200 ft climb to the town main plaza where most restaurants are. Noises from the hotel restaurant can be heard in our room.

Gubbio is fantastic, and this seems to be the best place to stay as it’s very comfortable and close to the public parking. The only problem is the nearby bells that ring loudly every 15 minutes, throughout the night.

It was a nightmare following the GPSto the hotel - caught in very narrow roads. Some staff spoke little or no English / yes it is Italy 🇮🇹 but one was incredibly helpful when I need assistance from Europcar- good luck if you don’t speak Italian - and yes I eventually just paid to have car repaired after 2 days of non assistance. Nice little hotel once you get there but no parking near the hotel so either pay 8 Euros a day nearby or free a bit further and hopefully your car will be there in the morning- bkfst ok and in the room charge. Overall quirky but charming

Once you find it (which is not easy), it is in a good location. The staff is nice, the breakfast is fine and the hotel is clean.

The Gattapone is everything one would need and even more. Staff was great, room endearingly rustic.

A spended hotel in the heart of gubbio the most enchanting village thus visited. I look forward to returning

It was a great stopover on the way to positano. . Loved the medieval building s and was quiet to sleep

The staff went above and beyond! My husband had a crown fall out, within 5 minutes a staff member had called and walked to a dentist. They re-cemented his tooth and we were back in our room within 20 minutes!! Thank you to Hotel Gattapone for a disaster averted.

Unbelievably great location close to everything. City is very mountainous and elevators exist to get to the different levels
