When we stayed during heat wave, the room had a big fan to solve our needs. The swimming pool is nice and spacious. I will come back next time.

Excellent location, clean room with friendly staff

Pros - Free Parking - Near Centre - Swimming Pool - Shower Pressure - Radiator in the Room Cons - Booked 2 x twin rooms but only gave one key card. When we asked and received the second card it blocked access for the original card. This happened for both rooms we booked. - We stayed 4 nights, it's frustrating that you have to request cleaning by 10am for the following day. - When cleaning was requested, they made the bed but did not clean the bathroom or replace the towels. When we asked ast reception, they said they had no idea who had been in our room!? - The pool states that it was heated, it did not feel like it was heated and it was dirty. You can see grime on the steps where people have tried to scratch off the dirt. - The WiFi settings do not allow you to cast things via Chromecast which is a shame. - We were told that the front door was open 24/7 but this was not the case. It was locked on the first night so we never tried again. I expected more when paying £800 in total for 2 rooms x 4 nights.

Excellent value for money. Needed a late check-in which was easy to organise after a phone call. I stopped here for one night on the way to Cornwall.

A nice comfortable hotel, good breakfast in an excellent location

Staff were very helpful and friendly. Pool needs updating as tiles were missing/loose, my son cut his foot whilst in there. Room was clean and parking was handy including electric charging.

Fantastic suite. Very kind and helpful staff. Use of the outdoor pool was a win. Lovely town.

Accommodation is a little tired but kept very clean. All staff were very pleasant and helpful. Unfortunately restaurant wasn't open despite website stating that it had opened. However we were able to bring in a takeaway and eat it in the bar area which was helpful. Pool wasn't open as closed for maintenance for a few days which was disappointing. It seems that this hotel has a new policy not to service rooms daily - apparently you should be offered daily housekeeping on checking-in, but we weren't offered and neither were another couple we were talking to. We were only there a couple of nights so not too bad for us but worth being aware of. Excellent breakfast!!

Good staff , food good , but no hot water in the sink or bath to wash in the morning it was stone cold. I told the manager who was very apologetic and said he would get it looked at.

Breakfast was superb! The pool is such a fantastic addition and we made sure we enjoyed it as often as possible! The staff are absolutely brilliant - always smiling and always helpful - we will definitely be looking to return! Huge thanks to the new owners and their team for a really lovely couple of days 😀

Nice location in the town. Room was clean and comfortable. Shower bathroom, decent shower. Hospitality tray well stocked. Definitely would stay again. Didn't try the breakfast. Staff very pleasant and helpful.

Nice clean room and bathroom

The rooms are always meticulously clean and the property is well maintained. Having reintroduced the full english breakfast in a traditional sense the property has regained our commitment to booking a bed with breakfast rate. The staff are always very friendly and the hotel is perfectly located not only to see what Lostwithiel has to hold but for accessing other towns and villages in Cornwall.

This was our second visit to the hotel and again, we had a wonderful time. We stayed in Room 9 with our dog and 2 children which is a beautiful room. The staff again were lovely and Amir, the new manager, was very kind and friendly, ensuring always that we were having a great stay. We used the pool every morning and evening and was always warm. We love the hotel not only due to all of this but because it is in a great location to go off and explore Cornwall East, West and North. We will be back soon.
