Clean hotel with outstanding food and a great staff

Absolutely loved this place. You won’t be disappointed!

Everything in the room was alright; nothing amazing but nothing shabby either. Staff was nice as well. But for the price, I find the room (even the "standard"-room that we had) underequipped. No fridge (just for storing drinks, would be nice) and no air-conditioning.

If you where purely interested in a few days with some kind of spa treatment the hotel will be ok our room was very basic the hotel seems very short staffed have to wait for a long time for service Sæby a very nice harbour village with a amazing fish restaurant on the harbour called Jacob

Arrived late in the evening, and was greeted by off-duty staff who helped check me in after hours and open up the bar! Room was clean and the stay was pleasant, despite them having some refurbishment works taking place at the hotel.

Good facilities, overpriced restaurant, staff not as helpful and friendly as at other Hotels... but then maybe it was me? I don't know, I try to be nice. Handy spot for the north east coast of Jutland, and a fair room rate.

Really great spar facility’s but the room lets it down as it’s really small and the bathroom is tiny.

This is a great area, with many interesting venues. But, this hotel is extremely overpriced for the value. The hotel lobby looks nice, but when you get upstairs to the guests areas, it is not clean or well cared for. The room was not clean and smelled of old dust. There were renovated rooms, we did not get one, but honestly, they didn't look much better. The staff was polite but not helpful. And, the hours for the fitness and pool are very limited. The breakfast was the only thing that was on par with the price of the stay. Much more interested in the corporate conferences they host than the hotel guests.

Great service, great room, great view, and spa center. This is close to Skagen but not too close as Skagen can get too touristy. Loved the quiet and the service.

Decent hotel, but the rooms we got where in the older part and where outdated and needed total refurbishment.

The pool and spa was quite nice and made the stay more enjoyable. The actual hotel could use a bit of sprucing up... it seems a bit dated and weary, although not uncomfortable. We also found ourselves "locked out" the one night - coming home after 11 pm. Luckily we found an open door by going around and checking all of them. When we complained in the morning, the receptionist noted there was a sign on the door - however, it was not in English. It would have been nice if the receptionist had mentioned when we went out that evening about the door locking (or the sign had been in English as well as Danish). The breakfast was good and filling.

Hotel Viking is a clean, reasonably priced hotel with a generous breakfast buffet included in the room rate. It is very conveniently located close to the beach and to the village of Saeby. A typical 60's building, it has been partially refurbished. You don't come here for the sleek modern style (which it definitely does not possess) but it is a good deal and with friendly staff.

I treated myself to a stay at this expensive spa. I arrived at 6:30 pm after being lost for 2 hours, being sent in the wrong direction at the gas station. The clerk didn't know how to smile, didn't tell me about the spa facilities and that they were going to close in 1/2 hour at 7:00 pm for the night. They don't open up again until 10 am the next day. Now is that any way to run a "health spa"? Make the clients stay in their room with their TV until they feel ready to let us in. The stairs leading down to my room, hadn't been swept nor were they swept when I left. The banquet table were set up beautifully, but that wasn't where I was having my birthday dinner by myself. The dining room. I had a waiter that didn't know how to smile or be the least bit friendly. He was helpful with the menu. The food was good but was overshadowed by the server's attitude. I wasnt asked I the meal was Ok. I wasn't spoken to. This hotel has plenty of potential. The clerk checking me out was polite and helpful, but I was on my way out the door by then. I probably wouldn't go back

Ikke imponerende til prisen. Men udemærket ophold mm.

Lidt skuffet over deres a la carte menu, hvis man kan kalde 3 forskellige retter for a la carte, hvor af at de ikke havde den ene menu, og koldt vand i termokanderne til the vand, og kedeligt brød til morgenmaden. Ikke helt den Woow oplevelse jeg havde forventet, desværre. Wellness området var fint og af god størrelse.

Dejlig oplevelse

Das Frühstück war frisch aber überschaubar. Die Müsli-Auswahl sehr klein. Die Dusche konnte man nicht temperaturregeln.
