We stayed here the night before going to Thruxton race circuit. When we rang to say we needed both our rooms to be twins or have separate beds, not a problem. We were able to have supper outside with excellent food and fantastic service. Beds were comfy, fans in every room for the heat and by 10am I had an email offering to post the PJ’s I had left behind! We will definitely come back and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The staff in particular were great - thank you

Nice place to stay with a lovely view friendly staff. Nice bar and restaurant as well

The shower hardly worked, it had a large shower head but water only came out of a handful of the holes and there was no hot water no matter how much the settings were adjusted so ended up washing my hair in the sink! The bed was uncomfortable and so had a really poor nights sleep. The only coffee in the room was for the nespresso machine, would have been nice to have a choice of capsules and instant coffee sachets. The pub and restaurant were very nice but I wouldn’t stay again unfortunately

Lots of parking, seemed to be pet friendly as well.

Very nice place, room was clean and cosy, even had fresh milk in the fridge! Very thoughtful. Bar was great with a good selection. Very friendly staff. Highly recommended.

Welcome on arrival and at the bar was very good. Nice country inn in a small picturesque village and lived the Breach Farm brewery just 1/2 hour country walk away. Nice room but it was far too hot which didn’t make for the best nights sleep unfortunately.

A very clean and comfortable hotel. Excellent customer service on a very busy night and the room was very nice. The food in the evening and breakfast had great healthy choices too. Will definitely go back

On arrival at the Hawk Inn I was greeted in a very polite and friendly manner. Booking in was extremely simple, I love the express booking in before arrival. My room was lovely, clean, warm and comfortable. Nice touches such as mini fridge for drinking water and some fresh milk instead of little milk jiggers. And delicious homemade shortbread instead of plastic wrapped mini selection. There was also a nespresso machine in case you didn’t fancy the instant type plus tea bags. Bathroom had a great shower with some very nice soap etc. Towels, lovely and thick, bliss. Breakfast is an option that I would recommend. Full English to Shakushka, great continental range of pastry, all served by an extremely pleasant and helpful server. Checkout was a breeze. I have nothing but praise for all the team members, and would love to stay there again.

All the staff gave an amazing customer service. It was a very welcoming, friendly and warm atmosphere. The room was clean, comfortable and spacious. I cannot fault it in any way.

Staff great, room lovely. No central heating though but additional heaters provided. Great stay overall.

Lovely spacious room/suite. Nice coffee maker and shower. Great accommodating pet dog. Just couldnt work out how to use the TV ! I was too tired to ask!

Great room.

Shower soap bottle was almost empty - shouldn't be a customer finding it out. Loud music from the ground floor - possibly from the kitchen area. Asked to turn the volume down and the noise didn't go down.

Good place to stay and eat. Exactly fit our needs.

Amazing place to stay, beautiful location, superb food and outstanding customer service. The only thing that lets it down is the constant slamming of doors by other guests (intentionally or not) and its very LOUD! Being an older building It literally resonates thoughout your room and is very disruptive, especially if you want an early night. Other than that we had a great stay!
