The Palace Hotel, Cervia is an excellent hotel of its kind in Cervia with excellent premises. and mainly excellent and pleasant frontline staff, except perhaps one. The hotel manager was very kind enough to bring up himself to the room my wife's lost bag which was eventually found but the concierge was not very helpful when she first reported about it. The front desk staff were also very proactive in quickly finding us an alternative, better sea-view room. The hotel is also a pet-friendly hotel and there were a few dogs we saw staying in the hotel with their owners. This means some rooms may have a flea problem as we encountered flea (bed bug?) bites in our otherwise perfect room! Nice and very courteous breakfast lounge staff.

Swimming pool access for older persons needs to be improved. Proper hand railing and steps into the pool need to be installed Overall property is superb!!

From the moment we arrived, it didn’t feel like a check-in. It felt like coming home to a version of ourselves we’d forgotten—freer, lighter, barefoot in the soul. The staff? Warm like old friends. The food? Outrageously good—like your Italian nonna had struck a deal with the gods. And the view from the room? The kind that doesn’t need filters or captions. But the real spell is outside: the pineta, a sacred forest of pines where you can lose your worries and maybe even find yourself. And just beyond, the Adriatic Sea—that shimmering accomplice to first kisses, late-night walks, and whispered promises. Milano Marittima gave us more than a vacation. It gave us a memory that smells like salt, pine, and freedom. And Hotel Palace? It was the stage, the soundtrack, and the soul of it all. We’ll be back. Not out of routine—but because magic like this… you don’t just stumble into twice.

The rooms were noisy, with construction work starting as early as 5am on the first morning, and loud music continuing late into the night on my final day. There were no kettles or irons in the room — the latter reportedly due to fire hazard concerns — meaning you have to pay to have clothes ironed. I also had to check out early for travel, but despite the hotel advertising a 24-hour reception, I waited 15 minutes for someone to arrive.

Beautiful setting and wonderful staff

The staff is very racist if you are white you are ok, I am Latino and they made sure to let me know. I don’t recommend this hotel because of their racist staff

Thoroughly enjoyed our 4 days on a B &B basis there. Beautifully maintained and well run with delightful staff. Our junior suite was spacious and elegant. Right on beach and near shops, restaurants. But; on arrival we were transferred to much less elegant hotel down the road for first night as Palace did not have room available; Palace hotel’s own private beach costs between 50 and 100 euros per day (depending on distance from sea) for two chairs and umbrella; and only one dinner venue at fixed price of 70 euros per head for 4 course meal. Shame about these -otherwise a lovely hotel and town to stay at.

No problem for staying in this hotel next time

The Hotel Palace was much more than we expected. It is beautiful, the staff was extremely helpful with directions, restaurants, securing a guide for us in Ravenna. It is in a great location, easy to walk to shopping, restaurants and the beach.

A true 5 Star Hotel and 5 Star Service in an excellent location.

Vi bokade rum med havsutsikt och fick rummet längst ner som också var ett handicap rum. Inte så nöjd med rummet, hotellet i sig har fin konst, lampor etc - äldre stil. Frukosten va ok, men har sett mycket bättre. Kändes inte direkt som 5-stjärnigt.

la cortesia del personale, la pulizia, i servizi, tutti eccellenti. mi ha invece deluso la richiesta di pagamento per usufruire di una stanza di appoggio il giorno della partenza, che solitamente non viene fatta pagare. Almeno nelle mie precedenti esperienze in strutture dello stesso livello del Palace

Super Frühstückbifdet, sehr sauber, sehr freundliches Personal. Von A bis Z tadellos! Sehr feiner und sauberer Strand,Besser geht kaum! Sicher auch beim nächsten Besuch in Milano Marittima unsere Wahl. Last but not least super Restaurantauswahl ind der Umgebung.

Hotel in ottima posizione bellissima spiaggia, ottimo servizio offerto in quest’ultima, deluso per la camera, ho lottato tutta notte con il termostato del condizionamento bloccato a 28 gradi, quando riuscivo ad impostare la temperatura desiderata funzionava alcuni minuti poi si fermava nuovamente, materasso scomodo, nel pomeriggio quando è stata riassettata la camera non sono stati integrati i liquidi consumati dal frigo bar
