Breakfast was the best breakfast I’ve ever eaten. Staff super friendly. Bathroom lovely. Less than optimal - room was tiny and very hot (but I know our weather has been so hot at the moment). Mattress could have been better. But overall I will be back and the breakfast knocked it out the park for me.

Convenient for town, clean and modern

A warm welcome to a lovely clean hotel with all the facilities you can think of. Very convenient city center location with parking makes for an easy stay.

Loved our stay at the Lemon Tree. But It was just very noisey with traffic noise, people noise walking under our window and sirens. Good breakfast. Easy to walk into town

Lovely period property

The staff were great - friendly and helpful with directions and ideas of things to do. The room was perfectly fine. Two bottles of sparking water and some cookies were provided in the room. The only complaint we had was that the fan, which was very much needed during the heat wave, was rather noisy (it squeaked as it rotated) making it hard to sleep well. We were only there one night, otherwise we would have asked for a new one.

Friendly, helpful, showed us to our room. Told us about a park close by for walking the dogs.

Lovely old building, good location exceptional breakfast. Parking is a bit of a nightmare after a 10 point turn in the car park had to find parking across the road which was no problem for my little car but you might struggle with a bigger car.

Expected bigger rooms and private space

Lovely, well maintained Victorian building with staff who go the extra mile to be welcoming and helpful. Parking is available though limited. Rooms are clean and comfortable, with roomy en-suite baths. There is a lot of traffic on the nearby roads, so bring earplugs if you're sensitive to noise.

They were very friendly and helpful nothing was a problem with them breakfast was excellent.

Nice smell in the room

Great hotel, good location in the city, walking distance to the city center. Beds were comfortable and the room was very clean.
