Amazing hotel! The property is located on a 2.5 mile boardwalk. The hotel is more on the north side of the boardwalk which in turn is quieter there. They have a beautiful breakfast buffet in the morning with an assortment of foods. The beach is right across the street. There are plenty of lounge chairs if you wish to rent. It’s nice that you don’t have to drive to the beach and get sand in the rental car. I just grabbed the towel and went across the street for a swim and left my key card with the hotel staff so I didn’t take any valuables with me. The views from my hotel room were beautiful! You will not be disappointed if you stay here.

Lovely location; v friendly staff

Lovely hotel, and nice amenities Lucia is an absolute super star and was so helpful when my father got sick, and was so caring. I wish the rest of the staff were all like her, only feedback would be the buffet evening food, this needs to get better but everything else made up for that! Car park is helpful and the bike room was secure for my boyfriend Ironman

We had a great stay. The two ladies at reception were friendly, kind and helpful. The hotel's architecture is beautiful. The breakfast is plentiful and a wide variety of food is available. The beach is across the road. We stayed in the new anexe of the hotel with sea view. The bed was comfy and we slept well. The nearest bus stop is around 12ish minutes from the hotel. A good selection of restaurants is within 10 to 20mn walking distance. We would happily recommend Hoposa Uyal.

Very nice property right in front of the beach. Walkable. Good dining options. Safe and quiet away from the madness of the bigger cities.

Hotel is great, breakfast fab but room was noisy. Plumbing kept me awake. Very loud when anyone used a tap, or toilet in another room around me.

We booked a room specifically with a sea view and balcony (the balcony was mentioned on the Expedia website in the room details) and when we arrived, they gave us a small room with no balcony. The receptionist couldn't help us with a different room straight away that evening, but said she would speak to the manager in the morning. Expedia customer service also helped and called the hotel directly. The manager upgraded us to a sea view suite with balcony the following day, which made a huge difference to our experience and we were very appreciative. I highly recommend that Expedia changes the information on their website, as they put the hotel in a difficult position.

Excellent hotel, opposite the beach with great facilities on site. Staff were excellent, really helpful, very clean, breakfast was great with loads of choice. Not too far from main town square. This was my second visit and I would happily recommend and will visit again.

The location is excellent. Room arrangement was unusual. Our bathroom was small and it had a whole sitting area that was not needed.

The location and staff are great. I booked an oceanview room which was quite spacious and comfortable. The view from the room was of a wall. If you walked out on the deck you could see the ocean. This room was in the main hotel building and was quite private and quiet. Overall a nice relaxing stay. However it felt like they allocated me one of their worst rooms in the ocean view category.

An enjoyable short stay at this hotel. Lovely room overlooking the sea and beach. Great breakfast served, staff very friendly and helpful. Ideally situated for short walk to beach and 15 min walk into town.

First time staying at this hotel. Have been coming to the sister hotel for many years but they didn’t have availability this time. We all agreed we now prefer the Uyal. Much friendlier relaxed atmosphere. The hotel was lovely, staff excellent. Our group stayed in rooms in both the annex and main building and everyone was very pleased. The rooftop terrace in the annex was great as was the area around the pool of the main hotel. Breakfast was great and plentiful. Only complaint was the coffee was terrible and the coffee machines broke down every day. But we would happily come back again.

Wonderful clean hotel! Staff were wonderful. Location was within walking distance to dining, shopping and the pine walk. There is no coffee maker in the room but the instant coffee was pretty good. Really enjoyed our stay and would stay there again!
