Stayed here for 1 night as it was close to the airport. Rooms weren’t clean and it had a smell to it. Bed was very uncomfortable and the sheets were paper thin. Super old hotel - wouldn’t stay here again but managed because it was only 1 night.

Car park somewhat disorganised. Breakfast v basic. Otherwise, everything was great - friendly and attentive staff, cleanliness, beer and gin(!)

Very nice front desk people, also 24 hour front desk. Our room had a little private balcony which is nice (I think all do) pool was nice (open til 7 pm) . Parking on street was regular trying to find a spot but they have a private lot also but about 10-15 spots. About 5 min drive from airport and 5-10 min drive to the fortress/downtown. Nice quiet safe location.

The staff was very kind and friendly, as well as efficient.

Late check in was great. The staff made us some dinner even though it was after 10pm. Very accommodating. Room was comfortable for 4 as expected.

I imagine the hotel is nice for the are, but nothing special… More of a local traveler spot.

Hotel staff was very nice! Super easy and quick check in for a one night stay between flights and other stays. Pretty clean except for the shower. One of the dirtiest showers I have ever used. Hair was all over stuck in the shower door along with dark scum all over the tiles. Really gross and I was super disappointed in that. Other than that I thought the hotel was clean in other areas, but could use an upgrade. Also the bed was made with no fitted sheet and just two top sheets which I also find kind of gross because it wasn’t made with the second top sheet. Good for one nights if you need something quick but would not want to stay longer.

We chose this hotel because of proximity to the airport. It’s clean, staff is great, but the beds are hard and we had some trouble getting the aircon the way we needed it.

We stayed here at the start and finish of our Crete experience. A lovely hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful pool, good food and drinks, great location (close to beaches, old town, port, and airpirt). Definitely recommend!!

The Sofia Hotel was just what i expected it to be. It was a hotel near the airport that was very convenient to stay at the night before our flight so that we could be at the airport very early. I don't think I would stay there otherwise but the staff was very nice and it certainly did exactly what we needed it to do.

This was a good hotel to stay at in the interim however when I booked online it mentioned that all taxes and fees were included but upon checking out they try to tax me further for the night.

Great hotel near the airport. Our flight arrived late at night, so perfect for our first night in Crete. Staff very friendly and efficient.

Just an overnight stay but exceeded expectations. All staff were so helpful and welcoming.

Great hotel, conveniently located to the airport (less than 5 minute drive) and very clean and comfortable. We loved the pool area and the options of restaurants nearby.
