Very good buffet breakfast and dinner; nice outdoor area to relax.

Laerdal hotel is gem between Oslo and Bergen. The fjord views from my balcony were absolutely breathtaking. I enjoyed having a spacious room with a roomy bathroom. The location is very peaceful and everything we needed for our over night stay was in walking distance. The staff was were friendly and spoke English fluently. Parking was surprisingly free, which is non existent for many hotels. Breakfast was buffet style. Timing is important if you want to avoid chaotic feel due to large tourist groups.

A very helpful staff who helped me with non-hotel issues. Upgraded to a larger room with a view of the fjord. In between seasons but the staff handled the many bus tour guests professionally and with smiles.

Bed was ok and the room was large. The chairs were comfortable. There was no facility to have tea and coffee in the room and we were asked to pay for coffee to get it from the machine in restaurant. The breakfast had no hot food options for vegetarians. There was not even a normal tea bag for tea drinkers, only fusion tea leaves. Very disappointing hotel, our worst experience in Norway

Hotel is in very quiet and calm location. The room was comfortable and spacious with good facilities. Sound proofing was quite poor and bed although reasonably comfortable was very soft. Nice to have a balcony overlooking the fjord. Rest of hotel pleasant but looking a bit tired in places.

A very beautiful setting, one of the nicest hotels we have ever stayed at. The park across the fjord is full of interesting Norwegian families, lots of children. It was fun watching them playin the water.
