Evening meal was poor

Good room, good hotel close to the M1 so you’re able to get to where your going really easily. Would use again

Reception staff were excellent, check-in was quick & easy. The room had adequate amenities but could do with a refresh. Overall good & would return

Sadly, we stayed on the wrong day. We arrived after a six hour drive to find out there was an eighties night on in the marquee about 20 steps from our room. It went on until after midnight. The music I could have coped with but the Dj and accompanying karaoke sounded like they were in our room, completely unnecessarily. Then the guests were in and out of the front entrance door next to our room until 4am. Not exactly the restful night I hoped for especially for our six hour drive the following day. We ate in the restaurant which was good and the receptionist was friendly and helpful. I would possibly stay again before checking there was no function on as the room represented good value for money.

Rooms are good, selection of food 😋. All the staff were very friendly and wood go out of their way to help you. Will definitely be staying there again.

We were enroute to Yorkshire from Somerset with a planned trip to Hardwick Hall necessitating an overnight stop. This hotel close to junction 29 of the M1 was ideal for our needs. The staff were all charming and very helpful and the food was excellent. We did have a minor problem with our room but without asking we were immediately upgraded to a superior room. We would recommend this hotel to all travellers.

Great hotel with very friendly staff. Ideal hotel position to explore area. Great facilities, nice beer garden when sun is out. The only downside was poor water pressure in the shower. Will definitely stay again.

Good room, comfy bed, nice toilet and shower room. Room refreshed each day, nice and clean. My room was by a fire door in the hall so was very noisy throughought night. No big light so was rather dark. Plenty of parking space.

Staff were super friendly and helpful. Hotel was spotless. Couldn’t fault the place.

Decent place to stopover on journeys up or down the M1. Reasonably priced accommodation, food and drink, with friendly staff. Plenty of parking, of course.

Very pleasant and helpful staff , asked for late checkout which was accepted with no issues and no extra charge , room service was great with great food , only issue shower didn’t get very hot

The room was lovely, the breakfast was delicous, and it was quite cheap as well as not being that far from chesterfield town centre. The staffs service was amazing as they were very interested in what our plans were. Will definetely come again and will be recommending to people.

Staff lovely, room snug, meal great! I'd visit again in a heartbeat! Please just light up the track so it's easier to find! I'll be back x

Room was fine but bed was poor, the mattress was rather thin and worn out. I've seen thicker on a fold away z bed!

Room clean but small for two people. Noisy due to motorway and guests downstairs. TV doesn’t have good package. Bed quite hard. Not comfortable for two. Restaurant great. Food lovely. Staff helpful.

Clean room and bathroom. Comfy bed. Shame there is no heating in the bathroom, as very cold when showering. Tv is a bit old. Staff are nice and food is very good.
