Outstanding staff at checkin!

Beautiful spot, very clean, staff so friendly. The lady working the front desk when we arrived was amazing, I didn’t get her name but excellent customer service : ) Also very comfy beds.

The “Old Barn” is character filled and was a great place to stay while doing the Cabot Trail and playing some golf!

We stayed in the Opd Barn which is full of character! A perfect place to stay in Baddeck when golfing or driving the Cabot Trail.

Pleasant grounds. Nice indoor pool area. Very busy with bus trips. Buffet breakfast was not great.

We stayed in the Old Barn section of the property and I think the name speaks for itself (although it shouldn't at a resort setting). The building has character, but also a very bad old smell. There are small things that can be changed to still keep the character but get rid of the old musk smell. The room was not very clean unfortunately. It looks like there was black mold in the AC system. Bathroom was also just quickly wiped by the looks of it. Really easy to replace the shower curtain for something slightly more heavy so it doesn't fly onto you when you're showering. The actual property was very nice because it was large so lots of room to walk and it's on the water. A few changes would make this place great but unfortunately the current state of the cleaning/ the old barn in general is what I would not recommend.

Room was very warm despite not using the heat. Room service unavailable. Will stay somewhere else next time.

Very clean and nice hotel

Room had remnants of Doritos when we arrived but we cleaned them up and it remained liveable. Paucity of available wall sockets for modern smartphone charging. Paucity of decent TV channels. Beds extremely comfortable. Overall, a lovely location.

Food and staff excellent.would like to see microwave in the rooms.

The staff and the resort was nice. The resort was right near the water unfortunately we stayed only one night and couldn’t enjoy the amenities as much. The resort rooms could use some upgrading as the shower head seemed a bit loose

Loved the spa, pool, hot tub and sauna. Staff were great.

We were there right before the season really kicked off so unfortunately we didnt get to try the restaurant as it was being set up for the summer. The staff was very helpful. Swimming pool was nice as well as the hot tub.

The desk staff were lovely and even called to see if we needed anything. The restaurant staff and food was very good as well. The blinds were filthy and the sink taps leaked every time they were turned on. However I do understand that the season had not yet started so perhaps they have limited staff at this time.
