We had a fantastic stay in this hotel. Staff are very friendly, attentive and respectful. Food in the restaurant was excellent. Lovely walk by the sea with our dog! We definitely recommend this hotel and would stay here again.

We stayed for 3 nights, overall an average/ok experience but rooms quite basic without any amenities like kettle, coffee, water, mini-fridge. Small garden outside also not maintained. But friendly service and good location for Villerville. Nice restaurant at hotel but a bit expensive.

This hotel was well described, but the balcony was very small. We were disappointed with the village itself, but a good location for touring.

This was the most peaceful hotel we visited on our trip and was the only hotel where the desk clerk actually took us to the room. Our room, #19, was clean, roomy and had a nice large and private balcony that overlooked the hotel gardens and farther off in the distance the English Channel and the mouth of the Seine river. If you're looking for a quite village and rest and relaxation this is the place to be! The hotel has it's own restaurant but the prices above average. That being said it could be well worth it, but we opted to walk down the hill into town and grabbed a pizza at La Cigale where we received excellent service and food! We only stayed one night but wished we had time to stay at least one more night. The only downside of our night here is that the shower is located in the corner of the bathroom and is only enclosed by a curtain that comes within about 8 inches of the floor. No matter the water pressure we tried to use the majority of the bathroom floor gets wet and becomes a slip hazard. The hotel also still uses keys for the room locks and you have to manually lock and unlock the door. Not a huge problem, but they also have these large heavy fobs that makes putting the keys in your pants pockets problematic. Overall it is a very nice property and I would give it another chance if I were in the area.

A beautiful hotel nicely appointed and comfortable. our room was a good size with a balcony and sea views, although we had only one night the hotel and area warrant a longer stay to explore fully. The restaurant serves good quality meals and offers a nice dining experience (a little pricey) but still a nice experience. definitely on our list to visit again

The hotel was comfortable, if a little dated. We had a lovely two night stay. Food was delicious.

A comfortable hotel but rather dated. We had room 5, separate from the main hotel but with a decent sea view above the trees. The downside was that the wifi in this room was virtually nil, but was ok in the main hotel. Great location for visiting Honfleur, Deauville and Trouville. The restaurant and food were excellent.

It was easy to find the hotel and a pleasant stay. The hotel restaurant was very expensive but a great meal. A nice selection of restaurants are located nearby in Trouville-about 15 minutes away.

Stayed for a couple of nights while exploring Honfleur and area. Rooms although large, not very cozy and furniture on balconies needs work. Spider webs in common areas, feels like the property needs just a bit more care. Overall a good stay, especially for the money. Restaurant is what makes this place stand out. Good food. Definitely worth coming for dinner, even if you're not staying here. There's also a beautiful seaside promenade very near the hotel, and you can observe spectacular sunsets from there. Perfect for a pre-dinner walk.

We stayed for two nights at Le Bellevue and it was the most beautiful, relaxing experience of our two weeks in France.Having read other reviews, we requested a room on the second or third floor to have an unobstructed view of the sea.We were informed that because we booked through Hotels.com, we would be placed in the 'annex,' which we expected to be second-rate.However, it turned out the rooms, just a few steps down from the main hotel were HUGE even by American standards, with a much larger porch/balcony than the main building.Be sure to again ask for the top floor of the annex if you can, where you have a partial view of the sea and can watch the ships lining up for La Harvre entry. The gardens were beautiful, taking coffee or wine in their gardens overlooking the water delightful.Staff was friendly, and the two gentlemen owners had good English. The meal experience was mixed...for dinner we each ordered the 50 Euro multi-course dinner which was average for the price...in retrospect, we would have done better driving the 10 minutes into Honfleur. On the flip side, breakfast was awesome, with unlimited bread, cheese, and assorted pastries and goodies, PLUS (and American will appreciate this) an entire personal pot of coffee! Easy and beautiful 10 minute drive into Honfleur, but you can get away from the tourist madness to quiet Villerville when you wish. We met many people there who have come back every year for decades. Would like to be one of them.

My husband and I escaped Paris mid week for a relaxing stay at the Bellvue. Our room on the 4th floor was spacious. Nice bathroom/shower. Great views of the channel. We enjoyed a delicious dinner at the restaurant. Not a far drive on small winding roads to the sequence of DDay beaches and memorials. Wonderfully accommodating staff. We would highly recommend the Bellvue to others!
