It is a very charming property and the staff are lovely but there was no hot water! They had no toast for breakfast two days in a row which is the only thing they offer. The pool leaked fast and furious and flooded the hotel so there was no pool. They continued to actively drill concrete by the upper deck multiple days is a row throughout the day while we were there. There was an extreme moldy to the pint of toxic basket under the bathroom sink that contained the blowdryer and the bathroom smelled awful the whole time. So it was an adventure, had charm but was also disappointing.

Unbelievable views, cozy room with a bathtub which is a rare find. The best part was the kind and help staff, they carried multiple pieces of luggage up and down the stairs for me and went out of their way to ensure I enjoyed my stay

I absolutely loved this hotel. They had a lotería vibe. The breakfast that was included was light, but yummy. These views were amazing! I’d love to go back.

Truly the most beautiful authentic Mexican hotel I've every stayed. Note you must have excellent mobility and carido as its a long stair climb up to but so worth the views.

Loved this hotel! It was such a great find! The pool area was amazing! Room was big and clean, the welcome drink on arrival was delicious, breakfast in morning was so good. Would stay here again.

Beautiful hotel, friendly staff. Very private, its a big place and you wont feel crowded. Had to wait a little bit to check in but we were hours early so that was on us.

Great place !

Rooftop pool area is peaceful with amazing views. This was a really relaxing place to stay. A short walk down a steep hill to the malecon.

Breakfast included fresh fruit, toast and coffee. Everything we needed to start the day.

Amazing stay! Peaceful, relaxing, and excellent hospitality provided by every staff member. Beautiful property! The hike up from the city is great exercise. We enjoyed walking around the city at night and always felt safe.

Beautiful property, friendly staff and clean rooms. The only issue I can think of is the number of stairs to get from the malecon/beach to the hotel.

We had a pleasant stay overall. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast is simple but enjoyable, with fresh fruits. The room (Sol1) had a beautiful view and was comfortable. The location is great, but be prepared for steep hills — some Uber drivers had difficulty reaching the hotel. Cleanliness was okay in the room, but the bathroom needs improvement. There were mold spots in the bathtub and the shower curtains were dirty at the bottom and with mold. Overall, a good stay with great staff and views, but cleanliness could be better.

The view from the pool and patio is outstanding! But for the high price, property description and great reviews, we expected this property to be luxury but it leaned towards backpacker hostel, at least for our room which is Arbol and up the spiral staircase (it may be called Diabolito 1 in the description online). It should be more clear up front that some rooms have air conditioning and some do not, so the customer knows to look at the details of each room before booking, as we were surprised and disappointed that ours did not. Our room had some panes of glass missing from two windows with no screens, and there was a large (5 inch wingspan!) moth in the room when we arrived. There was mold on the shower curtain. However, the bed was comfortable and the view from the room stunning. The pool was dirty and many tiles were falling out and pool lights dangling in the water from their wire. The continental breakfast is only toast with jam and fruit. (But the view from breakfast is amazing) There is no coffee in the room and it is not available with breakfast until 8:30 which is much later than we would like and there are no coffee shops nearby.
