The bar was very unpleasant to sit at with an air conditioning fan blowing hard and loud right at the seats. Unfortunately very uninviting

Needs updating - bathroom, vents need to be cleaned , carpet needs deep cleaning , walls need painting, lobby and entrance needs painting and cleaning

Internet was very fast - the TV is first rate - the AC works great.

It’s an out-of-date Aloft. When you think of Aloft, you think of modern style rooms, but this Aloft is really out-of-date.

The room was in very poor condition — it was dirty, had a strong unpleasant odor, and lacked basic essentials like a blanket on the bed. The overall state of the room made it feel like it was falling apart. While the staff were friendly, the service was extremely slow. It was surprising to see only one person working the front desk during peak check-in time, which led to a wait of over 45 minutes just to check in. The heat/air also did not work. It was either on or off you could not adjust the temperature

Overall we had a great trip. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. The rooms were neat and clean.The location was great everything was within walking distance & public transportation stopped right in front of the hotel. Only issue was it said it was a non smoking environment but everyday we had headaches from all the marijuana being smoked inside the hotel.

The staff members were friendly, location is convenient to the subway and nearby restaurants. I asked for a quiet room away from elevators, etc. Was given a “quiet” room around the corner from the elevator - loud beeps at 2 am and 6 am. I asked to leave a bag before I went to the airport; was told no. The manager was too busy to speak to me.

I enjoyed my stay. Room clean and staff was very friendly.

We got exceedingly lucky with early check-in after a redeye flight and we were so, so grateful. This was my third stay at Aloft Harlem and the staff are always kind an attentive. Our stay was peaceful, comfortable and convenient as ever.

All good except: Noisy AC and an unobstructed view of the roof trash.

We enjoyed our stay, staff was awesome. Bartender was alot of fun and super friendly Our Explorer was too big for valet parking, had parking right out front of hotel

Parking was difficult. I wish it was better and closer dining.

The hotel’s location was great, as there were many restaurants and shopping just minutes away via walking.

The floor and bathroom were dated but the bed was comfortable. The price of the room was very reasonable. It was easy to get to the hotel from Laguardia.
