Staff at greeting was so friendly, patient and helpful. We stayed in the apartment and if we are ever fortunate to find ouselves in the area again would choose that option. The breakfast was very full of options! Our experience was so favorable we sought out a Thon property on our next stay!

Ample parking and EV charging facilities. The room was adequate but the breakfast was simply exceptional. We’ve stayed at a range of properties all over the world and this was by far of the most impressive breakfasts I’ve ever seen. That this was offered for free, in a budget hotel, was completely unexpected. We’d never heard of Thon as a hotel chain prior to this latest visit to Norway and I don’t know if they’re all similar or if this particular location is a standout but we will definitely be back next time we’re in Norway!

The bed was not a king size double bed. It was 2 small beds out together so that they slipped apart during the night. Really disappointing, especially when the room cost was above 1500,-

The hotel looks fine, facilities are good, but due to COVID, restaurant closed (though we were able to eat at the restaurant at the entrance to the Bear Park (Bjørneparken), though only until 19:00 in the evening). The room cleanliness was poor (room 121) - Smirnoff 6 pack wrapper behind a chair next to the work desk, Feather from the duvet or pillows on the floor along with a number of other marks, hair in the carpet, quite a lot of dust under the bed. Worst was the ventilation system and floors. The ventilation system carried TV and other noise from room to room, so tricky to sleep until the last person did. The floors on the corridor to the rooms and in the rooms themselves creaked a lot when trodden on - impossible to be really quiet. Overall OK. Better when the restaurant is back in action again instead of the 400m hike uphill for early evening meal of breakfast (or having to drive up). Bear park good, if quite expensive (kr.399,- adult and kr.349,- child).

A very nice place! We were almost alone there and it was very quiet. The service was great and the supermarket is very nearby. The room was great and comfy but it was not thoroughly cleaned (I found the wrapping of a candy bar under my bed.) But all in all, it was a great place! I will go back there soon!

The Thon Hotel is attached to the local shopping centre but has its own parking area. A good value place to stay. Our room was not that spacious but had two armchairs and a coffee table. It looked out onto a wall of the shopping centre just a few metres away. The buffet style evening meal was good value and there were a lot of families using the restaurant. Breakfast choices were ok but the coffee was terrible and there were a lot of flies around the food. It was a useful stopping off point on the way to the airport but we would not stay there again.

Nice hotel close to bear park. Comfortable beds and clean room but can hear the room above quite a bit.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The room was comfortable and clean. The breskfast was good. It was nice to have shops connected to the hotel.

The hotel was nice but only one front desk clerk was available for a busload of guests checking in. They eventually brought a second person out. The room was nice but the shower smelled like cigarettes once it got steamy from use. and while the quick "take and go" breakfast (from 4-7am.) spread was nice. there was nothing portable - you had to be prepared to eat there which can be hard so early in the am...

Very convenient and comfortable hotel, with a good buffet breakfast.

It was a stop over for a night on our journey to the fjords. Great place to stop and relax as there's a small shopping mall connected to the hotel and the bear park is just opposite the hotel.
