Pat and his team run a top-notch motel. Couldn't be bettered (& we have stayed in plenty). Great guy; great info; good value. Pick Pat - you'll not regret it. Lions rugby crew.

A nice place to stay. The front desk did everything they could when they realised they hadn't given me a room with two beds. We got given milk free of charge and the internet was fast and the bathroom heater warmed up every room. Opposite Kaiaru park as well where you can see free thermal pools.

Very close to the city park with great walking paths around the geological hot springs. Also in enjoyed the "best meat pies bakery" right across the street. The room was clean and good for a one night stay!

Just outside downtown Rotorua, Bella Vista was a convenient starting point for travel to area attractions. The staff was extremely helpful. The room was comfortable, but the furnishings were dated. It was very clean, but the sulphur smells of nearby pools of hot springs and vented steam got to us after a while.

Average place - get what you pay for. Comfy stay. Small room. Had to remove hairs from the bathroom but not the end of the world for the price….

Was good for one night

The motel is in an older area and is showing it's age in some areas. Our room door was difficult to open and a few of the interior fixtures were pretty old and low end. It's on a busy road and can be noisy when traffic is heavy.
