A warm greeting followed by being taken to our room (room 4) which was a large well furnished room on the front of the property. Super quality linen and a comfy bed. We enjoyed a drink outside looking over the Market place. In the evening we ate in the restaurant - booking definitely advisable. My husband had the steak pie and chips which he said was the most delicious pie he had eaten in years ....high praise indeed from a pie lover ! Plenty of choice at breakfast We would return if we were in the area again

Lovely old pub with an excellent drinks selection, especially cask beers. Stayed B&B and was good value for money. The room was comfortable but needed a bit of tlc, especially the bathroom. The breakfast choice was good and the full Yorkshire was cooked to perfection. Also ate in the restaurant twice and can highly recommend. Overall a great break in a lovely pub hotel.

As soon as I walked into The George I was welcomed with friendly smiley staff who helped me check in and showed me to my room. They went through dinner times as well as breakfast. I didn't eat breakfast as I was too full up from the dinner the previous evening, the pie was beautiful and the sticky toffee pudding was yummy! My room was of a good size, clean and tidy and en-suite shower room was lovely. I will definitely be booking to stay at The George again when I next visit.

The room was very nice, clean and had very comfortable beds. Our 3 yr old simply loved the bunkbed. The breakfast was delicious. They were also very nice to offer to make special pancakes for son. Its location was great too. It was a very nice stay for us.

In the dog friendly rooms you need a mat or something in the bath as very slippy when having a shower

This is an amazing hotel set right in the middle of the beautiful small town of Easingwold. The staff were very friendly, professional and helpful particularly, John, Paul, Becks, Katie and Alison. The breakfasts were wonderfully varied and tasty. The pub and restaurant were busy and enjoyful with superb food and a great selection of beers. The hotel is also very pet friendly, We can't wait to make a return visit asap.

Lovely stop on our travel from Inverness to Colchester. Very busy pub and restaurant. We had a very tasty evening meal at the restaurant. Our room in the courtyard was nicely appointed, furnished and comfortable. Bathroom also new with an over bath shower. A great stop in a pretty village. Parking on the property is limited but plenty of on street spaces so not a problem.

As with previous visits, this was a terrific stay- the hotel and rooms are lovely, the food absolutely first class and the staff very, very helpful; they also managed to sort of booking problem ( at my end, not theirs...) out with the minimum of fuss. Highly recommended.

Nice old pub in Easingwold with friendly stuff and delicious breakfast. We arrived in the middle of the music festival, and the heat wave, but they did deliver in England win in the World Cup. Room very hot - maybe fans available if this changed climate is going to be a feature would be a good thought

We were made to feel welcome as soon as we stepped in the door, our room was exceptionaly clean with a comfy bed and both breakfast and evening meal was of a very high standard. All the staff were very friendly and took the time to talk to us making us feel very settled in. The location is central in a stunning village, with lots of free parking available.

Really nice hotel that serves amazing food. Room was immaculate and well presented and bathroom nice and clean. Staff were always polite and helpful. Clear to see why it was so busy even mid week. Dedicated car park as well as lots of parking front of property. Would absolutely use again if in the area. Incredible value compared to some larger chains,
