The location of this place is probably one of the best in terms of being able to walk to everything within 15 minutes or less. The room is soft was very simple and clean and overall the stay was great. Keep in mind. The elevator is really small and you have to go up to the third floor in case you have a lot of luggage or lots of people in your group that might be a little tricky -other than that everything was awesome.

The location is perfect! It’s just a block away from Metro (Opera Station) that will bring you everywhere in the city of Madrid. The room is small but clean, if you need a place to sleep and refresh, it is perfect. Of course you will hear a bit the noise outside because it’s in the city center. Close to Mercado de San Miguel, Plaza Mayor, San Gines, Opera house and more, as in, it’s located in the busy street.

Great service and nice room, very clean. A bit hard to find at the beginning. My cab was able to figure out that it was on the third floor! Ladies ruining it are very nice!!!!!!

Teresa & Margarita were delightful at reception – they speak very little English, but they were kind, enthusiastic, & helpful nonetheless! The building & rooms are older – think 1980s – but the location is everything!!! Luggage storage was also safe, easy, & a huge bonus for us.

Excelente ubicación, cerca de todo a pie! La habitación individual era pequeña pero cómoda y todo limpio siempre. La señora Margarita es un amor al igual que la gente de limpieza. La habitación tenía radiador y aire acondicionado, también un ventanal grande. Que el edificio a pesar de ser antiguo tenga ascensor es un gran plus.

Not obvious how to get in the front door and then it's third floor with a lift the size of a coffin. Really friendly staff but ignored the Do Not Disturb on the door and rearranged my stuff twice. Room looked nice but no hot water.

Luz Madrid rooms is located in the center of all atractions, metro, all is walking distance and you can make from the airport by the metro. The owners are very caring, hospitable, attentive. I was feeling at home that definitely, I will comeback. On top, is extremely well clean, with a good pillow, mattress, hot water. I highly recommend the location. Thank you Margarita and staff, sending a hug from California.

Let's start out by saying good is not bad. I got a private room with private bathroom. Yes the room was small but so was the price. I paid around $200 CAD for a night but was right in the centre square of Madrid. Being that it is so central don't expect quiet. If you are a sound sleeper invest in some good earplugs Most rooms in this area are 800+. I feel like I got value for my money.
