We stayed in apartment 303, and will never go back there again. Disgusting they could charge a premium price for such a dirty, smelly run down apartment. The carpets - in particular the main bedroom - are old, dirty and reek. The main bedroom was disgusting with the smell so bad it made me quite ill. The main bathroom has a crack that has had a bad attempt at repair and now leeks water onto the floor. We couldn’t use any of the crockery or cutlery until they were washed - and we then put everything in the dishwasher overnight and cleaned the drawers etc. The lounge and arm chair were so dirty, as were the cushions. Hated to have to use them. Washing machine was so smelly - couldn’t use it!! The internet was awful - dropping in and out and phone service was also poor. It was a very disappointing stay as we had stayed there before (in a different apartment) and were keen to go back. Worst of all was on our 1st of 5 nights there I sent an email to advise them of the issues and didn’t receive the courtesy of a response. Strongly advise to avoid…

We had a fantastic stay at Point Resort Bargara and couldn’t fault it. The outstanding service really made our trip memorable, with the managers giving us great advice on restaurants and things to do around the area. The location was sensational, with great views and easy access to everything we needed. The resort and rooms were spotless, and the facilities were excellent, including a great swimming pool. There was plenty of fun for the kids with putt putt golf, swimming, and the outdoor BBQ area, which was perfect for family time. Overall, it’s a clean, well-maintained resort in a beautiful setting, and we will definitely be back again

Total disapointment.i asked for sea view and we got put out view. I know it was school holidays but kids riding scooters around the balconys shook our unit 212. Mor tea coffee sugar toilet paper. For the money not even a cracker. Poor room lay out. Damaged carpet. Almost impossible to park a 4wd. The pool was cloudy. We left a night early. It was thst bad.

We loooove The Point. We’ve been coming every year for several years bringing family and friends and we all love the place and Sharon and Craig, the Managers. The location is perfect tucked between the Basin for safe swimming and the Main Street for food and entertainment. The rooms and we’ve almost stayed in all of them are all spotless clean, well furnished with all necessities, beds are really comfortable. As an ex-travel agent, I thoroughly recommend this property for a relaxing stay with great clean amenities. Also, I often read reviews and think ‘why didn’t you say something to the Manager’? I know Sharon and Craig will bend over backwards for each and every guest to make sure their stay exceeds their expectations. Can’t wait to head back again this year….

This is the third stay at this resort in a 2 bedroom apartment, visiting family. Very comfortable bed, well appointed rooms; kitchen, bathroom, and floors very clean; well located in Bargara. Insect screens needed a clean and some rust and corrosion especially around shower.
