This is we'll located hotel in the museum district and close to beautiful Vondel park. The rooms are very small but comfortable and clean. Avoid the 02 rooms that are right beside the elevator. The breakfast room was excellent.

Really nice boutique hotel in a convenient, quiet location in theMuseumplein area. Rooms are spacious. I have two negatives, however. Lights above the sinks and mirror are not very bright. Made it difficult for my husband to see while he was shaving. My other complaint is that while the shower is large and clean, and have a walk-in entry and water was all over the floor in the bathroom. It dried up during the course of the day and it was a bit of a nuisance. I do like that this hotel is not close to the central station but is easy enough to get to buy tram or bus. There is a bus from Schiphol that takes you an easy block in a half from the hotel. This was the second time we have stayed at this hotel so it definitely ranked high enough to merit a return visit and we would definitely stay here again

The hotel was one street away from the tram, bus and museums. Very quiet. Wonderful breakfast, freshh fruit, cereal and hot selections as well. Clean everywhere. Stafff was polite,helpful. Attentive. I stayed 6 days and was offered little gifts and notes which were greatly appreciated as a solo traveler. Would not hesitate to book again if I return to Amsterdam.

Ideal location in the city. Very pretty and quiet street located near the museums, shopping and Vondelpark. The breakfast was very good and offered many choices. The staff were helpful and friendly. My only complaint was the housekeeping - despite “cleaning “ our room, no bath mats were provided for wet ones and tissue boxes were not refilled when emptied. These were small issues and didn’t take away from our very pleasant stay. I would definitely recommend!

Clean rooms. Comfortable beds and great pillows. Very kind and helpful staff. Fabulous location. Close to all the museums and steps from public transportation. Shower was a little bit challenging.

Such a lovely hotel, with great staff. Breakfast with plentiful and varied, room was clean and spacious and the hotel location is ideal for those who enjoy shopping, the museums and a walk in the park.

Our stay at hotel JL was magnificent from the start. We loved the neighborhood, it is quiet and beautiful and very convenient. We were able to walk everywhere. Our room was small, but comfortable and extremely clean. All all of the staff was very friendly and helpful.

Breakfast was good, but it could be improved by changing it up a bit. We were there a week and all items were the same. The jacuzzi tub nozzles did not work.

The location was excellent; it was perfectly situated near the museums, transportation, park, and cafes. The room was nice, the breakfast was nice, and the staff were always very polite and helpful. The window for our room faced the beautiful picturesque street. The only drawback was that we were there in April while school was still in session. There are (at least) two elementary schools just steps away from the hotel - one literally next door. The classes take shifts playing outside. From 8:30am to 6:00pm, there was the constant sound of children playing. For me, not a bad sound at all; it was just really loud. Also, since this is a small hotel, you can hear the conversations from the rooms next door, people in the hallway, and people in the elevator. People usually caught on pretty quick that you need to whisper. We were there for over a week, so we had plenty of opportunity to catch on to the rhythm of things. All things considered, the location sold it for us. We'd stay there again.

We stayed at the hotel only one night and absolutely loved it. Check in was easy and the staff was very friendly and informative. Our room was clean and comfortable. Loved the idea of sink and mirror being outside the bathroom. Very clean room and had all the necessary amenities. Very central location with minutes walking to the bus stops for direct transfer to the airport. Will stay again.

Lovely hotel in excellent location near the van gogh museum. Rooms a good size and well maintained. Nice ‘honesty’ bar available in the reception with a decent selection of wine and snacks. Near the tram stop to the Eurostar terminal so easy to get around. Would certainly stay there again.

This hotel is in a great location: close to Rijks Museum, Van Gogh Museum and the bus that takes you to Schipol airport. The room was super quiet, plenty of space, very comfortable. There is a nice lobby setup to sit with friends and chill out. Definitely recommend staying here!

I stayed at the Hotel JL No76 for five days. The location is outstanding, in a nice, safe neighborhood, less than a 5-minute walk from the Rijksmuseum, the Van Gogh Museum and the Concertgebouw, and close to the Museumplein tram stop which gets you access to many parts of the city. The room I stayed in was spacious and quiet, with large windows, a big, comfortable bed, plenty of space to store my belongings, and a clean, modern bathroom. Good A/C and heat. The staff was exceptionally helpful and positive. The breakfast buffet, while not huge, had plenty of choices at an affordable rate, and the food was good quality. I would happily stay here again

We loved this hotel! Everything went well during our stay. The staff were all friendly and accommodating. They left thoughtful notes and gifts during Easter Sunday and on our last night stay. The room was spacious enough for the 2 of us. It was clean and had everything we needed. It took awhile to get use to the room layout having the sink outside the bathroom- but it was fine. The only one problem was the shower door. It wasn’t enough to prevent water from flooding the rest of the bathroom floor. Though this wasn’t such a bother for us. We’d love to stay in this hotel again in the future.
