Very nice location near airport. Food is wonderful! And a perfect temperature pool with a gorgeous view

This hotel is a gem. It is not far from the airport. It is about 40 miles to the cruise port. However, the lovely front desk agent can easily set up a cab for you. The hotel is well appointed, the staff is friendly and gracious and very helpful. Being a small hotel, we were pleasantly surprised how wonderful the restaurant is that is right in the hotel. The food is fresh, so well prepared an elegantly served. It is really worth taking the time to save her a dinner there breakfast was lovely as well. The grounds are walkable and it has lovely views. The room had everything you needed for your stay. I highly recommend if you’re passing through, stay here.

Onsite restaurant Fiskbariinn was exceptional for breakfast and dinner. The Artic Char tartare was a treat. We also had the Brie as appetizer. Main course hubby had the Salmon and I had the tenderloin. Beautiful presentation and as good as it looked. The front desk was fantastic and so accommodating to our early arrival and late departure. Close to the airport and even though it is not close to Reykjavík you could go to the Blue Lagoon which is fairly close and a great adventure to end your day

Stayed here the night before we returned to the US. The coffee machine in our room didn’t work, but the at the desk was very accommodating. We ate at the restaurant at the hotel the night before for convenience and the food was good. The free shuttle to the airport was quick and convenient and the driver was very knowledgeable because he also worked at the airport. Be aware, I was counting on a shuttle ride back from the airport after dropping off the rental car the night before and that was not a service they provide. The cab ride from the airport, five minutes maybe, it US $40.

They need a gym. My upstairs neighbors made a lot of noise.

The room, actually the whole hotel, was very spartan…only one chair other than the desk chair, no tissues and no soap other than hand soap. Very Scandinavian in decor and design. The in-room coffee maker had just 2 coffee pods and 2 little creamers. The restaurant was quite nice with a good menu for dinner and a nice view. Breakfast was a cold plate of fish, hard-boiled eggs, cheese and vegetables or yogurt.All food was extra. The hotel provided a free drive to the airport but would not pickup from the airport.

This was probably an amazing place when it first opened, and it still has a lot of potential. The staff were friendly and courteous, but overall morale seemed low, which gave the impression that management may not be very engaged. Dinner was excellent—fresh, flavorful, and definitely the highlight of our stay. Unfortunately, breakfast was disappointing by comparison. There were also a few maintenance issues that affected our experience. The coffee maker in our room didn’t work, and when we mentioned it to the front desk, they didn’t seem surprised. There was a noticeable sewer odor in the bathroom, and the patio doors didn’t lock, which was concerning. I really wanted to give this place five stars because there are a lot of positives, but for me, attention to these details is important. Addressing these issues would make a significant difference to the overall guest experience.

This was an absolutely wonderful hotel. We were greeted by a really friendly and helpful young lady at reception. Easy check-in. The room was very comfortable and quiet. We walked into town which is very close to the hotel and had a nice lunch. We had dinner at the hotel that night and it was exceptional. Highly recommend! We left early for a flight the next morning so didn’t have breakfast. The convenience of a no charge shuttle to the nearby airport was an added plus to an already great experience! Oh, and the warm pool is awesome! Thanks to all at the Burk! You are great!

The staff was very nice and the hotel was super quiet and convenient to the airport. The website makes it look nicer than it is and I am honestly not happy that it cost what it did. It is not nice enough to justify the price.

Great place to stay near the airport. I appreciated the rooftop soaking pool and the airport shuttle. Would definitely stay here again.

The hotel states they have 24 hour airport shuttle service. True, but they only take you TO the airport, not pick up FROM the airport. Misleading. Twin beds were requested, but not provided.

Very clean and tidy rooms. Hotel restaurant was fantastic as well.
