Área around the pool Smells funky

Great stay. Staff is very friendly and let me have an earlier breakfast because had to leave very early in the morning. Pool area is relaxing and the property is quiet. Would stay again.

This was probably the worst check in in my whole trip, the receptionist sent us to the most remote room in the property with a view of the laundry lines and called it a garden view, WE WERE THE ONLY GUESTS AT THE TIME mischarged for the extras. I had to get visibly upset for the room to be changed.

Gostei muito do hotel e dos funcionários. Tive um problema no quarto e os funcionários prontamente nos alocaram em um outro quarto. Espero voltar novamente.

Since hotel reviews (I think) should be helping identify differntiating factors instead of narratives that are more common for restaurants, here's a recap of my experience at Hotel Long Beach during the World Cup. Pro: -beautiful facilities, well-maintained grounds and pool with beach views -friendly staff and good poolside service -had what appeared to be a bodyguard at night which, despite not feeling that unsafe in Canoa, was a nice touch. - Hammocks!! - we seemed to be the only people using them, but they were a nice way to relax - strong AC - a must even in the winter season! - 10 min or so walk to the beach barracas, about 15 min walk to Broadway - will arrange all types of excursions for you (dune buggy, quadbike, sailing, massage, horseback riding) without having to deal with pushy guides up on Broadway - breakfast buffet was good, not great. A variety of fruit, cakes, juices, and hot items that seemed standard for a Brazilian breakfast during our trip. - Great pool in the Canoa cresecent shape. Also have a lap pool in an adjacent area. Con: -Wifi was quite spotty throughout the site (rooms or common areas) -Beds were quite hard in our opinion. - room wasn't very bright even with lights turned on - seemed to have a hard time containing insects during meals, was quite buggy.

Nice hotel instalation for Canoa Quebrada. Room was nice and clean. Also other instalation as the pool area was nice to chill at. The only critic was the food. The breakfast buffet was aceptable and it had all needed but was not very good compared to other hotels at the same price category.

Many issues; most important - checking was bumpy due to hotel had misplaced our prepaid reservation, also hot water needed special instruction but no one spoke English or understood the need even after bringing them to the room for showing. Management resolved issues next morning but staff previous to management being available hung up rather than finding English speaking staff or using Google translate. Much was lost in translation - even so, would still recommend.

The Long Beach seems to be one of the more upscale Canoa Quebrada hotels. The common facilities are very nice and the room was comfortable. Air conditioning was a little hard to set up properly and room service skipped cleaning our room one day. But, I have two big complaints. First, there was almost no one who spoke fluent English at the hotel. If Long Beach wants to be a superior property, they must have more English speakers. The second compaint concerns currency exchange. I wanted to change US Dollars to Brazilian Reais and I was told that the hotel only changed Euros.

Very good hotel. Amazing view. Very friendly attendents. Walking distance to the beach and ''Broadway''. Take a buggy tour to Ponta Grossa. Fantastic pictures !!!

Excelente hotel! Com certeza voltaremos. O único ponto a corrigir seria especificar no site do hotels.com que o quarto é na área anexa ao hotel. Não ficou claro durante a reserva. Café da manhã excelente e piscina incrível! Como sugestão de melhoria poderia-se fazer o estacionamento coberto e uma área com sombra nas cadeiras da piscina.
