For a couples getaway, this was a perfect spot. Surrounded by beautiful gardens, nature and shore. We dined at the restaurant which was small, but food was excellent and prices reasonable. Breakfast was outstanding. Would definitely return.

Very nice gardens. The rooms are quite small. Breakfast is good. Dinner in the Café had less ambiance compared to the dining room.

The hotel is lovely and the staff is great. We stayed with our dog and he was welcome as well. We would definitely come back here again.

Very impressed. Quiet, well appointed property. It is a Castle with a large courtyard. Food is excellent. Location is in a National Park.

Lovely place! I only wish I'd had the time to have dinner in the restaurant, however the breakfast was excellent (I think one of the best I've ever had). Perhaps more info in English so that it's possible to enjoy the Danish/local fare even more? (not everyone might know or appreciate something like fynsk smoked cheese). The toiletries were also very nice. Good shower head and water pressure. Always enjoy having a coffee/tea maker in the room. It was a tiny bit cold and it didn't seem like the heat could be raised, so it was good that I had two duvets for myself. Hope to return someday. Thank-you!

This was our first time visiting this gem! Definitely not our last! A beautiful place in gorgeous surroundings. We took a wonderful walk in the park down to the beach and with a view of the old bridge. Friendly personel. Beautiful, spotless room. Absolutely delicious food. Sitting on the terrace with a coffee or drink watching the sailboats magical.

Comfortable room with great bathroom. Surroundings are spectacular, from the buildings and the associated park to the grand views of the belt. Food was excellent, we had a three course dinner that were both tasteful and satisfying without making you feel 'stuffed'.

Super dejlig overnatning, dog ærgerligt at der blev larmet til sent (sat scene op) lige uden for mit værelse. Og de fortsatte igen tidlig morgen. Alt andet var super godt, smilende personale, lækker mad både aften og morgen. Behagelig seng. Jeg kommer gerne igen, men vil nok tjekke inden om der skal være slotshave koncert dagen efter...

Gav min datter på 13 år et ophold i fødselsdagsgave. Skøn oplevelse at dele med hende. Vi gik flere ture rundt i det smukke område. Vi nød blandt andet at se de smukke rådyr. Morgenmaden også helt i top (selvom datteren havde håbet på pandekager)

The grounds were pleasant to walk around - wooded paths, duck pond, Baltic Sea shoreline, garden for restaurant. Very good dinner, very helpful staff. Best available price room was in lower level and very small. Bathroom was updated but room needs updating as well, though clean. We saw newer rooms in adjacent building and would upgrade to this next time.

Wow! What an unexpected surprise. A small castle set in extensive grounds with deer/elk (or the like). Delightful restaurant and enormous buffet breakfast
