Absolutely loved Holly Lodge nothing needs changing at all

Overall, excellent. Minor issues: 1. Power outlet loose. 2. Breakfast tables were not cleaned regularly so that they were very sticky.

Lovely B&B with spacious, comfy room & bathroom, all spotless and containing everything we needed. Excellent breakfast with a good selection of bars and restaurants nearby for dinner. Easy walk from here down to Bowness. Easy check-in and advance breakfast ordering system but the icing on the cake were the lovely staff. Advised them we had just got quietly married and got back to find they’d decorated our bed! So sweet ❤️

This was a nice place to stay for a few nights, and quiet apart from the neighbour’s yappy dog and in a great central location for Windermere. Helpful staff, breakfast was good - perhaps could do with slightly bigger portion sizes though. The shower was tiny. Only comfortable if you are child-sized. This was my only bugbear as I am a 6ft fat bloke. Car parking plentiful. But be aware if you have an SUV you might struggle to get round the back because of the poor parking of others making it difficult to get by. Nice outside area, but seems more for smokers/vapers - the ashtray gave this away. In all, satisfied.

I’m really glad choosing the right one and stuff was great and helpful but I not keen much with cooked breakfast is not the best but is basic breakfast is not much choice

Wow what a little gem of a place very nicely decorated throughout bedrooms were lovely they had even put balloons and a banner up for my my gf and left us a pair of swan towels and rose petals on bed as i had mentioned it was her birthday my gf loved this and it was such a thoughtful thing to do. the breakfast was top notch good variety of choice and the added extra of being able to use a local gym literally five mins away for there pool and hot tub and steam and sauna room was icing on cake (included with your stay) When i booked i got a lovely msg from them to ask if i needed any recommendations i asked for places to eat and they provided a comprehensive list of places we opted for one called magic roundabout which was about 20min walk away (luckily all down hill 👍we opted for a cab back up 😂 but if your a person who enjoys a stroll it can be walked there and back we both have mobility issues so one way was enough for us ) Its in a great location we ended up having a few beers at a the crafty baa which was so close prob five min if that and had a lovely evening would highly recommend holly lodge and we will deffo be visiting again chace & jo

Breakfast was delicious. Staff was attentive and friendly. Loved having the experience of staying in a house from the 1600’s.

The staff were friendly and attentive. However, hot water supply during bathing hours was insufficient, which may be attributed to the central hot water storage system being unable to meet peak demand when multiple guests are showering at the same time. This is worth noting for those who prefer bathing in the evening.

We were greeted by Kirsty on arrival and she was very pleasant and helpful. We were shown to our room, which had a view of the mountains in the distance. The room was very clean and comfortable, the only downside was the shower which was quite small. The breakfast was delicious. All in all we had a lovely stay and would definitely go back. Highly recommended 🙂

We throughly enjoyed our stay at Holly Lodge. Had a lovely large room with views along the street. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Would recommend.

Rooms were clean and spacious, breakfast was fantastic and staff could not have been friendlier or more helpful.

Great place to stay. Easy access instructions, beautiful room with comfortable bed and pillows. Plenty of light but also blinds work well for the morning sunrise. Would recommend and return. Cane as a solo traveller and felt safe, there was even a door stop lodge in the room to place under the door from the inside which gave me more comfort knowing I was on my own and no one could get in.

Clean, central guesthouse, very friendly and welcoming. Lovely breakfast. Thank you for looking after us.
