The hotel is super old the walls in the hall are brick and it’s very dark. The room was on the second floor with a balcony we didn’t go out it was really dirty. They must have recently renovated the bathroom it had a nice new walk in shower and was very clean however it is raised about 4 inches above the original floor and we kept tripping when walking in and out of the bathroom. Really a safety issue. Chairs were dirty and stained. The restaurant was quite nice we had breakfast there daily. All staff members were friendly and polite. As mentioned in previous reviews rooms need a lot of work. I don’t think I would return.

Limited transport to the hotel

I feel I overpaid for the room based on the following: Room was not clean. Sheets had dirt on them and the walls in washroom area were greasy. Shower was missing glass and it made a mess while showering. No breakfast was included even at this room price. The breakfast buffet was amazing! 10/10

Super dated room. Bathroom looked like it hadn't been renovated since the 70s. The room smelled of sweaty feet and wouldn't air out. Popcorn ceiling and walls with no decorations made it look slightly more cheery than a jail cell. On top of all that, the walls were paper thin and you could hear everything your neighbors were doing and when they were walking on the floor above. Would never stay here again.

The hotel was out of town which was fine lovely and quiet the breakfast set up was excellent and the the whole facilities and the staff were also excellent , the bar should have stayed open abit later for guests as after 2 hectic nights out we needed a drink or a coffee to relax after the eagles nite as the city transport back to hotel at 11pm it’s a shame that was very stressful but the hotel was very nice and we all enjoyed our stay

The room and bathroom are very spacious, but it's time to renovate the rooms and furnutures. TV has very limited channels. Poor room and bathroom amenities. Make sure you scan the var code to get all hotel information as soon as you check-in. I wake-up one morning and call for room service breakfast, but they didn't take my order, because I had to select my order on a piece of card and hang it outside the door before 2AM. On our last stayed, we were wake-up by loud bangs on the roof. When asking at reception, what is all that noise that is coming since 7am from the roof, they informed that they were busy with roof repair. There was notification in advance to inform of this maintenance activity. After staying at Van der Valk Eindhoven best, that was so nice, I had the same expectation for this hotel and it was a disappointment. It was loke comparing a 5 star with a 2-1/2 star. The are is quiet in a remote area, with nothing at walking disstance.

The hotel has a good location in the Veluwe. Great to go for a hike and bike ride. Rooms were dirty; spiderwebs and flies in the room. Overall the amenities and breakfast was good.

The property is becoming tired. Time for a new building

Fitness center is not 24h. It opens at 10:00. Hallways and upper floors a bit noisy. Otherwise a very comfortable stay.

Nice hotel near Arnhem. Convenient to area with car or likely bicycle. No air conditioning but fan provided. Comfortable bed. Decent temperature at night. Enjoyable restaurant experience. Nice terrace area.

Pleasant and clean, friendly staff. However I’ll never understand why there aren’t regular double beds available in regular rooms.

Room is nice and quiet. Don't eat at the restaurant. Expensive and terrible. Missing bits on the entree. Main course was badly cooked. Partly burnt. Parking is very busy

A comfortable hotel close to a the beautiful de hoge Veluwe National Park and the Kroller Muller museum. The staff, restaurant and facilities were excellent. Wonderful choice for breakfast. Only drawback was lack of air conditioning during the heatwave.

Family room I'd booked was being referbished so down graded to a room with a put me up bed for my daughter and they gave us complimentary breakfast to make up for it (this was pre arranged) . To be honest we stayed in the family room last year and it was more like a suite and the room we had was OK but it was a big downgrade compared with the room we had last time. Then when we got the bill the tried to charge us 15 euro for a put me up bed for my daughter which was disputed and taken off the bill. Went for a meal and although the food was OK the service was shockingly slow and they bought out the wrong meal for my daughter. We complained at the end and they removed her meal from the bill. They also tried to charge us 5 euros for tap water, again this was disputed and removed from the bill. We toured around the Nederlands for 5 nights and this night was by far the most expensive and based on our previous experience of this hotel, was also the most disappointing.

We had a great stay. It was even better that the kids had there own room. The breakfast buffet was amazing. So much to choose from. Dinner choices were superb. And the drinks from the bar as well. The bathroom was nice and big. Excellent when you travel with more people. Beds were comfy. Nice surroundings. Only thing that was negative was finding a dirty sock, dirty thongs and jewelry that didnt belong to you.

Wonderful hotel with friendly staff and all rooms had outside area (terrace or balcony)
