This was a traumatic experience. The room we booked well in advance was not available. It was given to other guests who arrived a day before. We know this because we understand Italian and heard the receptionist saying so on the phone to the manager. The receptionist could provide the last remaining room overlooking the main busy and noisy street. The receptionist tried to convince us that the rooms they provide are not according to the picture appearing on the booking website. When we insisted that we should get the room we paid for they were upset and harassed us even by threatening to call the police. We had no choice but to leave and book another hotel nearby.

Hotel Sant'Andrea is located on a quiet street, with a lovely common space, and friendly, helpful staff that gave us excellent recommendations for eating. We would definitely return and recommend this hotel to friends.

Beautiful hotel in the heart of Ravenna, close to everything. Lovely furniture and rooms, very clean and modern but with an old world feel. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful.

Enjoy hotels with few rooms, this one has 12, spacious rooms. Excellent staff. Walking distance from Basilica St Vitale . Very nice garden where you can have your breakfast and drinks

Room converted attic space. Cannot recommend for anyone over 5 feet tall without fear for a head injury. unable to walk around bed without ducking Staff helpful but not all spoke very good English. Great location!

Stayed four nights. Friendly, helpful reception. lift to first floor room No 106. Good choice continental breakfast ( no eggs or hot food). Very near St Vitale and to Via Maggiore, 62, where we enjoyed good food each night at Al Corte restaurant. Would stay here again.

Of the three Italy hotels booked through Hotels.com for this trip, this was far and away the best. Very clean. Very roomy room. Great, patient and helpful staff. Terrific free continental breakfast.

This was the best of several hotels we stayed in on a trip round the region. the room was spacious and overlooking a beautiful garden where we enjoyed breakfast several mornings. The hotel felt peaceful and the ambience was very relaxing.

This is a charming hotel. The room and bathroom were spacious, and we had plenty of pillows. The bed was hard, but an otherwise perfect stay. Checkin staff were helpful, and we enjoyed the breakfast.

A hotel which felt like a glorious private house. The furniture and decoration had the feeling of a splendidly fitted private residence. The garden had a lovely feeling to it.

The Sant Andrea is very conveniently located in a safe neighborhood. The rates were very good. My room was super comfortable. Breakfast was delicioso! Everyone there was oh so helpful with any and all problems and questions. Even after only 2 days, I was sad to leave!

Once we'd managed to find the hotel by car, we found the receptionist delightful and extremely helpful. We had gathered from your website that the hotel had private parking but, in fact, it uses a public carpark several blocks away. A second receptionist was just as helpful in giving us the tortuous directions to enable us to bring the car to the hotel to load up! Would have rated the room 5 rather than 4 if only the lighting had been better.
