We loved our stay here! We had a room with a private bathroom that had a rainfall shower head which we loved! The entire hostal smelled amazing, idk what the scent was but I want to take it home! It was located in such a great location, very walkable to everything we wanted to see, Parc Guell, Fountain of Monjuic, Sagrada Familia to name a few. Lastly Diego was the BEST! He was extremely helpful & informative during our check in. Went as far as pulling out a map for us to keep with marks of all the must sees of Barcelona (we hit them all) and they did not disappoint. The neighborhood surrounding the hostal was quiet for the most part and had lots of restaurants right across the street. We were very happy with our stay here & would book again!

First time to stay in a Hostel and we were very pleased with the experience. It was super clean - linens and towels were fresh. It was a great place to us to explore the non-touristy area of Barcelona. There were plenty of little cafes and eateries doted around the Hostel. Deigo at the desk was extremely friendly and helpful, which made our experience wonderful.

The hostal is located an east bus ride from the centre of Barcelona in a quiet and safe neighborhood. It is small and very clean. My only concern is that there are no windows in the rooms but there are skylights.

We enjoyed our 2-night stay at Hostal Alogar. The room was small but clean, and the staff was uniformly welcoming and helpful. The surrounding neighborhood was very nice and non-touristy, full of local boutiques and restaurants. The only thing was that it’s a bit of a walk from the closest Metro station (Hospital Clinic stop on L3).

Check in very good with Diego. Very helpful. The smallest room we have ever stayed in though unfortunately. Although we were not in it alot it was quite a challenge to move around and even open our suitcases. The main problem was the VERY thin walls. We were kept awake until 1 am with other guests talking and banging doors with no regard for other guests. Location was good and in a good area. Easy to get around as we used the trams and Metro alot.

Very tidy. Quiet and peaceful and yet, very strategically locationed with close proximity to shops, restaurants and all. I am definitely coming back.

Fantastic! Diego, the attendant at the front and or manager was great, super polite. Gave us a lot of tips for around the area as well.

My husband and I rented a private room with a shared bathroom. The bed was comfy, everything was super clean. There was even housekeeping every day to come make the bed and change towels. Definitely a more upscale hostel which was excellent to save a little on a hotel but not feel too rugged. Thanks!

Diego was amazing and attentive to all of our needs. We were greeted with a warm welcome and any questions we had he was happy to assist us. It was our first time in Barcelona and he made sure we knew how to get around and always greeted us with a smile in the morning. Location is near some shopping, a little far from the center and beaches but train station is less than 10 minute walk. Some really cute cafés nearby. Would definitely recommend.

I really recommend this place. Diego, our host was very kind and accommodating in our short stay. The hostel is modest but very well equipped and organised.
