We’ve stayed a number of times at the hotel and we enjoy the experience each time. The standard rooms are great but a little tight for space . Overall it works well for us from a point of view of location and requirements.

Good value hotel in a super location next to Woburn Safari park. A great location for walks and visiting the park. Hotel comfortable however a few opportunities to upgrade rooms and consider customers experience from arrival. Hotel has added tables and chairs to courtyard for use during the day for drinks which is good however means when arriving you need to weave through tables with bags as they added too many, some noise on warm nights if sleeping near by. Stayed in cottage which was a great space however downstairs needed a bit of work to make smarter with better coordinated furniture, bed comfortable however being an old bard floorboards very noisy. Main bar was functional but lacking in character, with the original in my opinion nicer bar now closed for regular use. Staff friendly and good parking both in hotel and free local car park.

Love stay

We stayed for a night due to a 2 day fesitval nearby. The accomodation was clean and plesant. Sadly for us other guests was not concsious of the fact if you talk in the corridors at 1am it will distrub others. We also was on the ground floor in which our window faced the courtyard and so with guests up early or coming in early hours of the morning and talking this was a little disturbing. However, no fault to the staff or acutal accomodation

I stayed here for one night. The food was delicious and everything was so straight forward. They even brought the food up to my room as I was staying solo and had driven up after work

The hotel had an issue that during road works the company had gone through a gas pipe. So the hotel was busy as they had taken in guests from other hotels. Cold shower in the morning but they did provide a free breakfast without being asked.

I stayed in one of the cottages. It was a very warm day and there was no air con / fan. The furniture / carpet was very dated. Bits of the bathroom also very dated. A lot of windows so tonnes of light gets in from sunrise, even with blinds / curtains closed. Tea making facilities were dirty, with cups / spoons looking like they hadn’t been washed. Property backed onto main road - very noisy. The staff are also very noisy in the morning with deliveries etc. Wouldn’t stay here again

Hotel is really lovely, fantastic location. Staff are super friendly and helpful. Our room was beautiful but so hot unfortunately if you opened the window you got the giant kitchen extractor fan blowing into the room. Other than that great place to stay

Fabulous hotel. Gorgeous decor and very comfortable beds. The breakfast was excellent too. Would recommend and will be coming back.

Lovely Stay

My stay was extremely disappointing. The bathroom had a duct that made a loud, disturbing noise both during showers and while trying to sleep. I recorded a video of the issue and shared it with the receptionist via AirDrop. Following this, I went for breakfast and ordered chopped avocado and eggs on toast. I was served blackened avocados that were either tasteless or spoiled. When I raised this with the waitress, she argued with me and condescendingly explained that avocados aren’t local and their freshness couldn’t be guaranteed. This was completely unacceptable. To make matters worse, I was seated opposite the kitchen and witnessed one of the cooks eating while preparing food, touching his face and hair in between, and continuing to handle food without gloves or washing his hands. It was unhygienic and honestly ruined my appetite. The waitress eventually took away the avocado toast and offered an alternative, so I requested the full English breakfast instead. I still need to verify whether I was charged twice for the breakfast. Overall, it was a terrible experience. The bathrooms look outdated and unclean, and the carpets throughout the property appeared worn and dirty.

We have just returned from a lovely trip staying at the Woburn. We had a fantastic room. Staff were excellent. We ate in the restaurant in the evening and the food and service were great. Breakfast was delicious. I definitely recommend and will return soon.

Nice hotel, good restaurant and room. Not the hotels fault, but if you rely on EE as a phone service, there is no signal at all.
