The check in took 2 hours to complete. It is done via an online system which requires the propertys confirmation number, something that is not included in the hotels.com confirmation. The check-in procedure also required a cpf number, which only Brazilians have, and which did not permit the user to conclude the check in. The response from their "customer service" was pitiful. Each message took over 10 minutes to get a reply to. I don't know what passengers without WhatsApp or without data would do in order to check into this joke of a property. Once inside, the sofa was completely devoid of any cushioning. The bed was comfortable enough though the room in which it was placed was tiny. A cheap motel is a better place to stay than this.
