Amazing property, excellent staff and service and an unbeatable location.

Comfortable stay. Close to everything.

Location perfect

The hotel, staff and facilities were all fantastic. The size of our room was great (quite large) and we were looked after wonderfully well. The only negative was the taxi the hotel arranged to take us to Chiavari. The taxi was run down, the driver was 'off hand' and he charged 150 Euro's ...despite us querying the amount. On the way in from the same location we paid 58 Euro's so 'ripped off'

Hotel reception very rude. Shower dirty. No soap, no efforts to replace the empty soap. Ants in the room. 8$ coffee.

Rude Staff not welcoming at all, upcharging for everything including charging 30Euro for small kids for breakfast and kids not welcome to use pool on property, will not be going back, there were many other nice places did not feel like a 5 star hotel.

There are hidden fees such as $30 to use the swimming pool.

Lovely hotel in a great location at reasonable rates. Walkable to everything. Would def go back.

Everyone at the hotel was very friendly and helpful. The room was very nice and comfortable. The bathroom was also big and well appointed. The breakfast buffet was very good. The only negative thing I would say is that we didn't know you needed to pay extra to use the pool 20 Euro per person. They should advertise this more prominently.

The property was lovely. The staff was exceptional. They allowed us to check in a bit early and stored our luggage until we got back from lunch. Then they personally escorted us to our room . We did not partake of the breakfast. It cost 30 euro per person and we thought that was a bit pricey for the amount of food that we eat for breakfast. We walked two blocks and had a great breakfast for about 15 euro instead of 60 euro. We stayed in the newer part of the hotel in the back. Very modern rooms, white, bright but small.

Booked 3 suites for 3 nights TERRIBLE TERRIBLE, This hotel use to be my favourite location wise and service. This stay was basically the front desk staff trying to make everything hectic and unpleasant. Housekeeping was filthy, leaving cleaning items in the room , not changing the bedding which had a tanning oil stain. Towels smelt like it was washed in a kitchen. Unbleached, with spots on the corners. In addition they had us pay for parking for 6 hours although the duty manager informed me a day earlier that he won't charge as I am a regular resident. At check out I was served with a rude, disrespectful bigot that made it her duty to override the managers decision as she wanted to charge me initially until the duty manager waived it. As he wasnt available on check out she kept ranting and raised her voice infront of the people checking in which shocked the prospective residents and said " you signed a contract at check in , if you dont know how to read that your problem, you can afford it so pay it. Which Is true i did sign out of good faith as this wasn't my first time staying at this hotel. All in all , this hotel needs to train those new staff members the real meaning of hospitality. Continuing this manner will definitely ruin the hotels reputation as word of mouth and reviews are what intices booking a particular hotel, and myself and all my friends and family will surely not recommend this hotel to anyone.

The hotel is walkable from the train station The staff was very friendly The room was very clean and bed was very comfortable. The hotel is in walkable to many restaurants and to the ferry landing. The morning buffet was very good with plenty of options. I would stay here again

Nice hotel. Very modern, clean and comfortable. Staff are very nice. I had an attic room, which had a big soaker bath tub, but no shower (this was the only draw back in my view). I would stay here again, though maybe in a room with a shower

We stayed in the Spa Wing, so i only speak for that portion of the hotel. Room was large, spacious, well decorated. Great private patio. Beautiful hallways, lobby, outdoor area. Service was perfect. Insisted on carrying luggage, parking the car. Excellent drink service in the gorgeous lobby. Front desk was super courteous and hard working. Great people work here. They are doing something right! Just a beautiful place and perfect location a block front the harbor and the basilica. I would stay here before going anywhere else in Rapallo or Portofino. Critiques: lovely spa. They charge 25 Euros per person. Steep but their rooms are inexpensive as a result. So pay for what you use. I respect that. My real critique is the spa, which includes the gym, is only open from 12-8pm. This.may be because of staff shortages. I don't know. But it is unacceptable. Subtract a star for that.
