Comfortable relaxing place

Good location and clean

The room was charming, very clean, and quiet. The staff was so helpful with suggestions about public transit in Basel (which was easy and inexpensive). The also arranged for transportation to the airport very efficiently. Would definitely recommend!

We have a duplex 2 bedrooms unit on the second floor. Very convenient to major attractions. You can even order your baguette and pastries the day before and pick them up at front desk after 8:30 am. The location is close to the train station and the streets leading to the place are paved and flat so that you can wheel your suitcases easily instead of on cobblestone street if you decided on a place in old town.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Had dinner at their restaurant. Delicious! Really star quality. Room was very spacious and clean. They gave us robes and slippers to wear in the room. Breakfast was average continental. But enjoyed the French baguette. Nothing better than French bread!

The atmosphere of the hotel was actually better than I expected, but the location is not ideal. There aren't many restaurants nearby, and the market is a bit far from the hotel. Additionally, I stayed for one night and was bitten by something—I'm not sure if it was fleas or bedbugs. While using the bathroom, I tried to kill one with toilet paper, but it wouldn't die, so I had to flush it down the toilet. It was a bit unsettling. Although it was only one day, the bites from that incident are still visible on my wrist. If it weren't for that experience, my stay would've been much more pleasant.

Positively surprised. Great service and recently renovated, "boutiquey" rooms.

We were staying at location primarily because of its closeness to airport and were completely surprised how charming our room and the grounds were. The restaurant was fantastic!

Dinner at restaurant was fabulous. Hotel staff friendly and so helpful!

We arrived early before our room was ready for check in. They stored our baggage (6 pieces ) for us while we went out all day and into the late evening. When we came back, they had already moved our stored luggage into our room so we didn’t have to do it when we came back. They also secured transportation to the airport for us for 3:45 am. Nice not to have to worry about that. This is a nice property.

Great communication prior to our stay. Taken to our room following check-in. Room was a good size, comfortable bed, black out curtains, very quiet. Everywhere was spotlessly clean. Great water pressure, fab for showering. We didn't have breakfast in the hotel but there was a supermarket and two boulangeries close by. Walking distance to trams, bus and train. Found a wonderful bar with great food 5 minute walk away called La Diligence.Staff were all fabulous so friendly and helpful. Special shout outs to Yaniz and Shana who were in duty on reception when we had queries around trains etc, however I do stress all reception staff were great. Used the bar in the hotel, again excellent friendly staff. Shout out to Ahmed but again had we been served by anyone I would give them a shout out. We ate in the restaurant one night, superb service and knowledgable staff. Great experience and great food. I have a lactose intolerance and Ahmed understood, spoke to the chef and they provided an alternative. Free shuttle back to airport. Downsides of our stay was there was very limited storage space in the bedroom. No kettle ( sorry I love a cup if tea) and although you could get very hot water from the coffee machine, was very slow and noisy and I am not a fan of drinking from thick plastic although I know this is done for environmental reasons. Very uncomfortable to watch tv in bed. TV did have English channels and we do like to watch the news. I must state though I would return in a flash.

This is a service-oriented hotel that makes you feel absolutely welcome. We stayed because our family (3) needed to catch a flight out of Basel Mulhouse airport. The airport transfer was flawless and they were amazing hosts. Top notch comfort -- wish we could have stayed longer.

Late arrival on business trip. Bed was really comfortable and pillows!

Very relaxing stay for our overnight Property was very clean, quiet and comfortable

This was a lovely property in a St Louis neighborhood outside of Basel. The staff were excellent and the restaurant on the property was very nice. We had drinks and appetizers on the couches in the lounge because it was late for us. To get onto Basel get to Centro we had to walk several blocks and hop on the tram which took us straight there. Easy peasy. We chose it because they provide transportation to airport at 4:00 am which was perfect and right on time.

We had a beautiful, spacious room in a lovely neighborhood. We stayed in for dinner and it was excellent.

This was a fantastic stop for us. We were only passing through and so we only stayed for one night but the place was spotlessly clean and the staff all very friendly. I would make the trip back to St Louis again just to spend another night here.
