The room is very clean and spacious. The staffs are friendly.

Latimer House was a restful stay midway between downtown and waterfront. This place had 5 parking spaces which we were lucky to park though we were there during off season. Suggested alternative parking on the streets, though they seemed full as well. Directions provided ahead of time were clear, concise and helpful for an easy check in. Room was spacious, and on the first floor had large patio that overlooked a garden and was well equipped including a small fridge.

Never met any staff so can’t comment on them, but property was great and the process was easy.

Loved the guest house, its decorated beautifully, we had a separate snug area, and I found the bed to be super comfy, though it was a little too soft for hubby. Water in the fridge. Perfect location and plenty of cafes that did breakfast within walking distance. Available parking. Would definitely stop again.

The guest house was in a great location. Parking isn’t great as one space can’t be utilised due to the garage and only one car looked like it could get in due to the spaces in front. The room itself was very clean and nicely decorated, as was the bathroom. We never seen any staff around. We got stocked up of tea and coffee but they left the dirty mugs which I would have expected clean ones. The bin was also emptied but our empty pizza boxes were left under the bin where I put them hoping they would be taken away. I also thought clean towels each day would have been nice.

The hotel is located right in the center of town making it very convenient and easy to walk to nearby activities. There is no reception, but we got in our rooms with no hiccups and amenities were refilled. Highly recommend!

From getting the email so we could get in and the ease of parking, it was a great start. We never met the hosts but to be fair we didn’t need too. The room was spacious, very clean ( including the bathroom) we’ll definitely look Latimers up again if we go to Bowness again. Highly recommend.

Great property, excellent location. Very clean a neat, lovely decor. Good facilities (an Nespresso machine would have raised it to 10/10) Shower rather than bath, which is quite common nowadays. Still unsure about the self-check-in and number keypads, but the staff (owner?) were on site during our visit and were lovely.

I was in room 5 and had a great stay. The room was huge with everything I needed for an overnight work visit. It was warm and cosy with a lovely spacious bathroom and nice shower. I had no difficulty securing a parking space

Just enjoyed a 3 nights stay. Absolutely gorgeous accommodation, tastefu decor and really spacious. We arrived and the hallway had the most gorgeous smell, our room was absolutely spotless and had a lovely homely feeling. A gorgeous giraffe lamp in the Snug! The bathroom was really clean and great products. We will definitely visit again and highly recommend to friends. Also the position is perfect and we had onsite parking.

Size, comfortable and well equipt. Excellent sleep with minimal noise and light.

Very clean and lovely to have 2 separate and spacious rooms. Great to have a fridge also. Only slight downside was lack of shelf in bathroom and limited space to put toiletries etc. Would certainly stay here again.
