The rooms were clean but…. The bathroom was tiny and had a bizarre and noisy flush operated by a bitton on the back of the bowl. The basin was barely bigger than a saucer, didn’t drain and didn’t have a plug. All the rooms on the front of the hotel were very noisy as the road was busy. It was even worse as it was hot and we had to open the window. Below average breakfast. The few apples and bananas offered were way past there best - bananas were mushy and apples all crinkly. Poor cereal. The croissant were OK.

My room was fully equipped with everything needed for a relaxing stay. The proprietors were friendly, lovely people.

The hotel was sweet and clean and parking was right outside the door.

Arrived for one night on the Sunday. Hosts do not speak English but very pleasant. No bar or restaurant open. 5 mininutes walk from the Basillica. overall clean but when bathroom door closed hairs and bits on the floor and dead flies on window sill. Large lumps of fluff under the bed.

We had a comfortable stay at this Hotel. Convenient parking and owner very helpful and friendly. Room was large, clean and quiet. Easy walk into centre.

Slightly tired in general but the room was clean and comfortable, even though power sockets not easy to get to. Very compact bathroom but all clean. Happened to coincide with the owner?/receptionist on arrival, but had instructions for entry in an email. Apart from that no contact with anyone.

This hotel is traditional small town French. Super location for exploring Albert and the surrounding area. Attentive owner and spotlessly clean. Richard was helpful with directions for me and my three friends. We will be back.

It was a cute little hotel, but an older one. The beds were a little lumpy but not bad for a night. There was a nice little bar to get a drink and the breakfast was typical European fare. We didn't eat in the restaurant but it looked to be pretty busy with locals. The staff didn't speak much English so Google Translate came in handy!

A great no frills hotel centrally located in Albert. Staff don’t speak English - worth considering if you don’t have any French.

Not a very friendly welcome and hotel in serious need of refurbishment. The toilet was inadequate (it was plugged into the wall and electric) and the shower head was fitted about 3 feet high, meaning difficult to wash face and hair. The bar was small and very expensive. Overall, I would avoid staying in Albert if on a trip to the Somme battlefields, the town has made limited effort to accommodate or make visitors welcome. I would recommend visiting the battlefields and then moving on to Ypres, which is an entirely different and welcoming experience.

The plumbing was alarming and the entrance to the shower was built for very slim people.

I have stayed here before but sadly this visit was not great. The sheets were uncomfortable and of the 8 lightbulbs in the room, 4 needed replacement. A shame really

The restaurant on site was nice, the staff were very helpful.

Old tired poor facilities. It wasn't expensive and near to town centre but then the town centre is pretty depressing
