Beautiful architecture, novel live parrot who greets you in the lobby, excellent room, amenities, and restaurant.

The staff were very friendly and courteous. Everyone from desk check-in, assistance, restaurant staff and so on. The foyer was beautiful, and the bar and verandahs were amazing!! Beautiful views from rooms, restaurant and terraces.

Average reception. Rooms are dated, especially the carpet. ok stay

Outstanding view. Cute town. We were there during a school parade - what fun. On a Sunday though restaurants were few and crowded. Highly recommend!

Great view over river

Very nice room with an excellent view. The room was spacious and clean and the breakfast was first class. We would stay here again.

Nice hotel. Parking for motorcycles in underground car park was free. Restaurant not open on Sunday or Monday though. Nice bar.

Friendly staff at front of the house. It is a vintage hotel, not many gadgets and very simple, despite the huge bed. Due to work related had to extend my stay 1 more night, however bugs coming out from tub water dranage.... little unsatisfying

This hotel is excellent. Has a wonderful view and very close to the city center.

Most confortable rooms in Vila Real, although it gets noisy early in the morning. Excelent breakfast.

We had a nice spacious room with balcony and beautiful view over the Corgo valley. Great location only few minutes walk from city center with convenient parking garage in the basement of the hotel. The building has a few decades but has good design and is well maintained. The breakfast had nice bread and OK coffee, but choice and quality of cheese, meat and fruits could be improved. Overall good value for money.

O Hotel é muito central. O quarto era confortável e o pequeno almoço razoável. Abreviei a estadia porque a piscina estava em obras. Contei com compreensão, simpatia e profissionalismo na recepção para resolver a situação.

This was a great stay. The hotel was very well located, and the service was excellent. They went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. The breakfast was also fantastic.

Avoid this one. Never experienced toilet paper like sandpaper but that is what they have here. Torn raw as a consequence. Expensive breakfast with nothing hot.

Big hotel. wonderful view of river, Staff very helpful, room excellent, 5 minutes’ walk from many restaurants (we liked “22”), easy parking. Compared with guesthouses, we enjoyed sleeping in spontaneously not needing to commit in advance to a breakfast time.
