Comfy bed, plenty of hot water. Bit noisy next to the road early morning & no reception on tv at all

The staff are very accommodating, assisting with luggage, etc. This is a pub with 5 rooms. The room is small but they provide coffee and tea and the bed was comfortable. The only challenge was finding convenient plugs for charging electronics.

Nothing was too much trouble and the staff were brilliant. We’ll certainly be back.

An absolutely lovely hotel. Super friendly and helpful staff, a comfortable room, delicious breakfast and a convenient location for those going on hikes in the area. I was pleasantly surprised to discover that all baked goods served in their delightful pub are from Bakewell!

The room was comfortable - good beds,super biscuits and selection of teas,coffee and hot chocolate.Food in the inn superb and staff friendly and helpful-especially liked Robert the morning chap ! Location was great we visited most of the hope valley by bus plus the village has lots of cafes etc.

300 year old hotel with lots of charater, but with excellent facilities.Enjoyable overnight stay.

Room and evening staff excellent. Breakfast a little chaotic. Little notice of the written request (I asked for no black pudding or baked beans and received both and white toast and had granary. Also we ordered cereal and croissant to be eaten before the main course but because the breakfasts were already plated up before we arrived we were not offered them until after

A very pleasant 2 night stay. Very clean, tidy with enough in room snacks and drinks. The food was very good with a great choice at breakfast. Service was good, staff very friendly and helpful. We would stay again.

Our 5th consecutive stay over August bank holiday says it all really, fairly priced, excellent (free) breakfast and evening menu. Staff are always attentive, friendly and courteous. We’ll be booking for next year 10/10 ⭐️⭐️⭐️

Lovely overnight stay with breakfast included at the Scotsman's Pack. The room was clean and thoughtfully appointed and staff were friendly and professional. We also had a relaxing evening meal in their beautiful garden. Highly recommend.

Nice single room, if some aspects a little dated. Excellent customer service with friendly staff. Good range of vegetarian options for breakfast and staff were accomodating and helpful. I could hear quite a lot of noise from my room, including pub hand dryers and pipework. I could also smell food from the kitchen with the window open.

Traditional style hotel, friendly, courteous staff throughout the stay, room was small but had everything we needed for our one night stay, clean bathroom, although the showers water pressure wasn't the best. Excellent evening meal and breakfast, located just off the main road, very good for exploring the rest of the village.

Good -as was when we stayed before. Great staff and lovely food.
