Beautiful traditional hotel in amazing natural beauty. The larger rooms are renovated and very nice and spacious.

Nice hotel with a view ( if your room gets it) to a lake. Breakfast was very good. Didn't have dinner, but it appeared to be a good affordable buffet. Staff was nice. Location is great for a road trip stop. Not a lot going on there, so quiet, or so it seemed probably before big groups start to arrive in high season.

Beautiful views of the lake and river system that it is nestled up against. Plenty of activities for the nature lover too... not just a stop on the way to the mountains in other words.

The weather was mixed when i was there. The drivers on public transport were very helpful but it was not very frequent. Views astoundind!

Beautiful nature all around but no chcoice in restaurants or food nearby

First of all, there's another Revsnes Hotell located in Bykle, about 120 km north of this one. Our car GPS picked that one but luckily I remembered that we had to make a left turn onto Rv 9 so we changed the destination just in time. Now, this hotel has seen its prime quite a while ago. The carpeting in the halls says it all. The furniture in the room is dated. So is the bathroom. But the new panoramic windows they installed most likely recently compensate for these flaws. The view of the lake was great. I give it an extra star just for that. The staff was nice and friendly. Breakfast was very good. Also the lobby is decorated nicely with folk motifs. A good stay overall.

We recently stayed at Revsnes Hotel during our trip to Norway. The hotel was on a beautiful lake and the surrounding scenery was stunning! The trees and nearby mountains made for a beautiful backdrop. We enjoyed looking out our window from the room and during all meals. The hotel staff was phenomenal. They went above and beyond and really made us feel as though we were at home. The hotel has a very “Homelike” feel to it. It is a great place to relax and unwind after spending time in the busier cities. There are some nice nearby activities to keep you busier as well, if you choose. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay at the Revsnes Hotel.

It is a nice simple hotel with clean rooms. They !had an excellent supper buffet with exceptional wait staff. The receptionist went out of her way to help us book our ferry ride for the next day. She was even willing to use her own credit card if ours did not work. We were not able to stay for the breakfast in the morning as needed to catch ferry so they made us Sandwiches and fruit to make up for it. Exceptional in every respect of service!

Great location with lake views. The hotel needs an upgrade. Bathroom was small and shower drains outside shower stall. Room is outdated especially the bathroom. The dinner menu was fine and taste is average. The breakfast is less than average.

Een hotel uit de 70 jaren. Kleine kamer, kleine douche. Bedden zo laag en verouderd. Het hele hotel zou een upgrade moeten hebben. Ontbijt buffet was om 09:00 al zowat leeg geplunderd. Alleen de plek met uitzicht was top.

Et fremragende hotel, med en fantastisk beliggenhed ved bjerg og sø. Gode værelser, hvor der er hvad der skal være - inkl. behagelige madrasser. Personalet var i særklasse, og udsigten fra restauranten sammen med den gode mad gør, at vi helt sikket vælger hotellet igen, når vi kommer på de kanter.
