The online pictures for Hotel Montfleuri are highly deceiving; the actual room was outdated, extremely cramped, and excessively priced for what it offers. For a four-star hotel, basic amenities are severely lacking or dysfunctional: the in-room safe is ancient and requires a physical key from the front desk, and the tiny fridge is completely unusable for personal items because it is packed with overpriced minibar stock. Furthermore, the morning buffet is a poor value at €17. Once you arrive and see the reality of the property, you are essentially stuck, as neither the hotel staff nor Expedia provided any assistance or flexibility to change hotels without losing our payment. The only saving graces were a well-functioning air conditioning system and convenient nearby transportation options. I cannot understand how Expedia rates this property so highly—save your money and book elsewhere.
