Very friendly staff - Nicky was fantastic- got up early Saturday morning to make us perfect porridge before our ‘Bantham Swoosh’ 6 km swim! Also loved their fish and chips the night before. Very comfy bed and great power shower. Great value too. 2nd morning we had their wonderful Full English breakfast. Can definitely recommend. Nicky went above and beyond. Thank you

The Inn is around 700 years old. Hosts/staff were very welcoming and helpful. Good variety menu-wise, food/portions very good. Good selection for breakfast. Full English is a 'not to miss'. Nice garden seating area. Handy for Bigbury -on-Sea... Thank you for a good, all round, stay.

We had the most perfect stay at the Exeter Inn.. the welcome was great .. the beds were great .. the breakfast was great.. and the price we paid was great value.. so no complaints from us .. we will definitely stay here again and will recommend to all.. our only negative was we were not able to sample the food in the evening .. because ..we had already eaten before our arrival .. but looking at the plates that were brought to other diners this also looked great .. so Thank You everyone at the Exeter Inn..

This is a period building, it has its restrictions what can be changed to the building, as it quite poss a listed building. Low beams in the Bar etc. Very authentic. Food brilliant. Bar atmosphere great. Hosts ideal company. Unfortunately the carpet up the stairs & the rooms really need some TLC. The rooms also need some £ spent on them to look a bit more comfortable. That said the rooms & Hotel were clean etc. Just a mention this place loves dogs.

The room was nice, and the hospitality was excellent from the landlady. Breakfast was a really welcome treat, and I was happy that it was included in the good value price I paid. Thanks

Excellent hosts. Nothing was too much trouble for them and went out of their way to allow seven extra people to dine with us, even though we hadn't booked in for a meal. Food was great and thoroughly enjoyed by all.

Excellent breakfast. Lovely old Inn but the old solid walls and single glazed windows aren’t good at keeping the heat in.

Could not wish for more. Lovely village, perfect old world setting and just a few miles from the main road. An historic pub that matches it's promise in every way. Very friendly staff and welcoming locals. Nice choices at breakfast too.
