Friendly and helpful staff. The food was excellent and reasonable. Room was clean with great view.

We had a great stay, the bathroom and rooms looked new and very clean!

It was a pleasure to stay at this historical building. The surrounding area is also nice to walk around, with plenty of restaurants to choose from. We enjoyed the room with modernized bathroom and balcony. Breakfast is also very nice, enough choices to fill up. The only downside is the floor in the room. Probably because it’s been for a long time it squeaks when you walk in the room.

Excellent place to stay to either visit Lago Di Braies or start the Alta Via 1. Food was excellent. Beds comfortable and rooms clean. Hotel service from receptionist was outstanding. Would stay again

I arrived in the evening and was provided a great check in experience. The room was beautiful, the services were excellent, and the continental breakfast was the best I’ve ever had at a hotel.

It was a pleasant stay

It looks like a guest house than a hotel. The hotel is small with a restaurant on the ground floor. The receptionist also has to work in a restaurant so sometimes nobody was there. The room is well-renovated. Wifi was not available on the 2nd floor so had to use it in the common area on the 1st floor. The smell of fertilizer nearby was the worst as we had to sleep with the window opened.

Arrived late on a snowy day and walked the 4 blocks to the hotel as there is not taxi service in the village. I had just learned that the was a rail strike scheduled for the next day March 8th and I was a long way from the Milano Malpensa Airport for a flight home. The young woman at reception was helpful in getting travel options for the next day. I was too concern about travel to really enjoy their wonderful food.

Misleading ratings and photos. Service was lacking. Wifi signal didn't work in room. Rooms were very small and overpriced for what we received. We booked based on ratings and hotel's charming history, but upon arrival, we were left very disappointed with the condition of the hotel and service we received.

Great historic hotel, right in the middle of the town and close to the natural areas (Braies, Tre Cime)

Beautiful, quaint hotel, near train station, located on city square. Friendly, helpful staff includes desk manager who speaks English. Corner room was clean, spacious with doors that opened onto 2 balconies. Needed to g to lobby to connect to WiFi. Breakfasts were delicious with many choices. Ate dinner in hotel's restaurant & in pub. Both meals were good.
