Clean rooms, polite staff, cheap prices

I had a pleasant day in Smile Hotel Namba, the service there was excellent, the receptionist was very friendly and I had a really good stay there.

Very cozy rooms. Very close to a station with direct access to tourist hotspots such as Dotombori and Amerikamura.

I really don't mind and understand if the hotel is small and cramped for the price , but when it comes to cleanliness, it is something they have to sought for. I came across their aircon and bathroom exhaust and found it was almost never maintained for quite a long time. When I turned the aircon, there were dust blown into the bed and I decided not to turn it on ever again. On 2nd day, the bathroom also turned smelly for no reason. On the bright side, it is easy to get here by walking / bus.

A small Japanese-style room, sleeping for 2 people, may be slightly sluggish. The Japanese bathroom is super clean but the reception staff is 24 hr.

The hotel has enough amenities, there are baths and laundry facilities complete with dryers and ironing boards. The hotel service is also ready for 24 hours. In my opinion, this is a budget budget hotel.

Room is small but clean. Only one hotel staff speaks English, but all are helpful.

Super easy access to subway, not too near but not too far to reach (less than 5 mins walking distance). Very clean and friendly. If I were to re-visit osaka, this hotel will be my first choice.

The location is good, near the station, but the rooms are old, poorly maintained and the facilities are minimal, even drinking water is also not there. So it feels less satisfying, not worth the price offered.

Sakuragawa Station Exit 1, turn left, up from Subway stairs. Then walk straight right across to 1 hotel zebra on the right. There are a lot of restaurants, Lawson shops are all convenient.
