Nice hotel in the middle of the old town. Walkable, nice in the evening with less people and heat. Staff were very friendly. Parking very convenient at 18 Euros. Good breakfast.

The property is a 2 minute walk from the Cathedral of Santiago and is located on an old street which is full of character. The reception staff are extremely friendly and happy to advise us about the city, detailing a map for us and planning a short route on a camino so that we could get a feeling for the pilgrimage. Our room was very comfortable and well cleaned everyday by friendly staff. There was ample choice at the buffet breakfast and we were made to feel at home by the welcoming breakfast staff. We would recommend the Hotel Rua Villar as the place to stay in Santiago de Compostela and would definitely stay there on future visits to this wonderful city.

The staff was friendly and willing to help in anyway. The hotel is perfectly situated near the cathedral. The rooms are beautiful. I would stay here again. I would stay here again should I visit Santiago. A perfect respite after completing the Camino Frances.

Great location, very clean, good breakfast buffet, good customer service by staff What should be improved: Time for breakfast, it open at 8am, if have a tour, you may have to skip BREAKFAST or rush to have some breakfast, ideally breakfast should start at 7am or at least 7:30 AM

Very well located in the heart of Santiago De Compostela and within walking distance to all amenities , 200m from the cathedral. It was a pleasure stay.

The hotel is in a historic area of Santiago very close to the cathedral. It is within easy walking distance of cafes and shops. The building is historic and is not really suitable for a wheelchair user.

Hotel is located in an awesome spot. Close to many shops and restaurants and points of interest. We were able to walk to our parking garage from hotel with a large suitcase, backpack and tote. We really enjoyed our stay.

Room was comfortable and clean with good amenities. Option of buffet breakfast or al-la-carte which I appreciated. One block from Cathedral in the centre area near major sites, with many options for restaurants, bars and shops. Staff friendly and helpful.
