Unfortunately the room assigned to of us had black mold around the base of the shower. The shower in general was dirty and need major maintenance. The rug was very dirty and stained. The young man who greeted us at check was rude and unapologetic. The young lady I spoke with the following day was very attentive and offered us another room but for one night more we chose to stay in our room. Later that day we were offered a 15% discount on our booking which we were very great full for but we did not expect the cleanliness of this hotel to be that poor. I would not stay there again.

Breakfast was fresh and lots of variety, staff very friendly and helpful! We were close to restaurants and the pier for the cruise ship

The hotel desk staff was very nice and very helpful. I had a great experience and as a solo traveler, I felt very safe a comfortable. The hotel is located in 3 mins from La Rambla Boulevard and in walking distance to all Gothic Quarter, all MUST see museums and 5 wonder houses designed by Gaudi including Sagrada Família.

The hotel was convenient to La Rambla (about a block), so it was away from a lot of the noise. There are 2 little restaurants/bars near the entrance so you can conveniently get something to eat at a reasonable price. It is not as retail oriented and crowded as the Gothic Quarter on the other side of La Rambla, but is only a short walk from there. The hotel was clean, the staff was friendly, and I highly recommend paying for the breakfast option if offered. It had eggs, cheeses, meats, pastries, breads and juices along with 2 coffee drinks per person. It is a couple blocks from the Columbus statue and 50 minute walk to Sagrada Família. Taxi to the cruise ships was about €15. We felt safe and the only negative was a small basketball park close by that had games into the evening.

This is a boutique style hotel that is in excellent condition. The service was wonderful with very friendly staff. The rooms were super clean. The restaurant is good as well and priced really well. You are basically in the heart of Las Ramblas and within walking distance to the port area. Highly recommended. We will be back.

This hotel is delightfully quirky with it's sixties theme, the staff are wonderful, the breakfasts were great and the location is ideal. We will definitely be back.

Clean room, friendly staff, great location

The hotel was great and clean. The room may be a bit small but has everything I needed. The hotel breakfast was wonderful and fantastic, and had lots of choices, eggs, all kinds of bread, sausages and bacon, fruits, vegetables, and cheese. Coffee was great, and the staff brewed each single cup when you placed your order. The hotel was conveniently located, and very close to the La Rambla.

The location was excellent, room comfortable, breakfast excellent.

The people for the breakfast in the bar area were excellent very attentive. Always welcomed to you with a nice smile.

This hotel is a breath of fresh air. Simple but well done, the room was clean, it had a fridge and washing up sink which was very thoughtful. The bathroom was well equipped with a rainfall shower and looked newly decorated. The decoration throughout reflects the sixties culture in Barcelona without becoming too obvious. Breakfast was varied, great coffee and bar. It is the staff who make the place though, being relaxed and kind. We could leave our luggage with no question or fuss. Umbrellas were hand out when it rained. Nothing was a bother. And the location right at the bottom of La Rambla is convenient to the port, the Gothic area, placa de catalunya and a metro stop for the rest. We will definitely stay again. You leave your key (an actual key, mind you) at the desk when you go out. Nice old school touch and it means you don't have to worry where you left it all the time. If you want super fancy it's not for you but you'd be missing out. Loved it!

The hotel is good value as location is only a couple of minutes walk to the Las Ramblas.Breakfast is of a good quality for the price,staff friendly and rooms are adequate with a good shower and free safe.

Secure safe location. Close to the metro and great system for keys. No need to worry about losing the key.

Clean, spacious and comfortable room. Excellent location and value for money. The shower was excellent and really helped us relax after a long day of walking around the city. All the staff were very friendly and helpful - would highly recommend!
