Rey and staff were outstanding. We always felt welcomed by all. Would definitely return to stay here. The room is perfect for a couple and two young kids, my 17yo would have benefited from a bigger bed than the bunkbed but it was only 2 nights so it wasn't too bad. The Retiro park is less than two blocks away. A pharmacy is an around the corner; they were very helpful when we needed medicine for my kid who got sick.

Great location and nice hotel with great staff. Not too many places to eat right around the hotel but many within easy walking distance.

Quaint hotel. We really liked the space. It was a great location--very quiet but close to the park and the Prado Museum. Our room had bunk beds which made it perfect for our family of four. The only drawback of the room was that the bathroom had a really off-putting musty smell. It made me question the cleanliness. It might have just been the room we were in. Overall it was a good stay.

It's located in an unbeatable area of ​​Madrid. Very accessible yet quiet. One block from the Prado Museum. The hotel is very comfortable and welcoming. The staff is helpful and friendly. We've stayed at other hotels in Madrid, but this one is definitely our favorite.

The location of this hotel is excellent and the staff were friendly and helpful. The family room were a great option for us. The place could be spruced up a bit and the bunk bed we had squeaked a lot. Also, the underside of the main bed does not look like it has seen a vacuum in quite a while. The location and cost we perfect for us!

Very good location with easy access to buses and metro, it's very walkable to different areas as well. The property itself is clean and kept very well, the staff has been friendly and helpful as well!

The staff were extremely friendly. The "free" breakfast (part of the nightly cost) was exceptional. Room was clean, yet small. Areas to improve, consider a little store area in which food items and wine / beer can be purchased. Consider having a microwave in the rooms so food / drink can be heated up

Overall this is a good hotel and the staff is friendly. We chose a room with a bunk bed but It was impossible to climb the top bed. The ladder had very thin metal steps and that hurts your feet too much if you are an adult. We had to move the mattress to the floor. So if you rent one of these rooms, be aware it only works for kids
