The hotel is centrally located with the Palace of the Dukes of Aquitaine literally around the corner, the Notre Dame 5 minutes away, and the Hotel de Ville within walking distance. The hotel occupies the former Jesuit chapel which is visible from the outside. The room was good size, with a nice bathroom. The parking is in a private garage but the hotel charges EUR 10 and gives u a pass.

Disappointing. We stayed here for one night and the first impression of the building is super nice - the standard rooms and the hallways tho definitely need some renovation. They maybe were modern 20 years ago and look used. The room wasn’t very clean unfortunately, at first glance yes but there were stains on the bathroom curtain and a handprint in the shower. The blanket was way too thick for summertime so I found myself waking up sweating. As there was no other blanket, at 2 o clock in the night I wanted to go to the car but the entry was closed so I couldn’t get out. I had to wait for 15 min in my Pyjamas in the lobby, looking and yelling for someone, until somebody came out of next door to the reception. The breakfast choices were okay but we again waited for like 15 minutes until there was a service person helping us with finding a bottle of water. In general I wouldn’t come here again unfortunately.

Gold status ALL upgrade to an exceptional duplex room under the old roof and arches of the original church. The design is wonderful, the bed upstairs very comfortable. Excellent restaurant, fantastic employees, professional and friendly. The welcome at reception was really warm and genuine. Location is very central with parking 1 minute away. Will definitely go back! Top class hotel

Room is looking okay with a shower inside the room just near a bed. All we wanted is to have a good sleep before leaving further, but it is impossible to sleep in the room. There is no fresh air in the room, too warm , AC doesn’t work and after calling reception at night cuz it’s impossible to sleep, it doesn’t seem someone actually tried to find a solution. Windows are blocked so you can’t open it., it’s such a bummer that they don’t care about custmers and trap them inside the room with no air. Even the bed is comfy you won’t be able to sleep.

Spectacular architecture in a duplex room. Complementary mini bar very welcome as well as the delightful honey scented toiletries. Ideal location in town and short walk to train station. Only negative is the room could get a little warm on the upper level (okay for me but not my friend) - something the hotel is obviously trying to actively counter as a blasting new air conditioning unit had been installed by the window which was very much appreciated. (And to be fair, it was a heatwave with temperatures of 37C degrees outside!)
