don’t usually leave negative reviews, but my experience at Hostal BCN Ramblas was truly disappointing and misleading from start to finish. The room looked nothing like the photos dark, outdated, and not what was advertise. The bathroom had see-through glass walls, which made privacy impossible. The Wi-Fi barely worked, and to top it off, the receptionist was rude and unwelcoming at check-in. The location is good, but that’s the only real positive. I wouldn’t stay here again.

Basic

The location is right infront La Borqueria and metro which was great, BUT the hotel its self was not. The elevator was super small, only 1 person and a small luggage/backpack can fit. The stairs are so narrow and you need to climb a few flights of stairs up to the entrance. There was no hot water to shower in the mornings. Heard a lot of people in the hallway complain about it from my room, so the rooms are not soundproof.

Too crowded for me

Great location for Barcelona but noisy at night.

Perfect place to stay in the city centre of Barcelona. Room was comfortable, with private bathroom. Good deal

Felt like a jail cell it was so small and smelled of mildew.

Lovely place for stay as it’s easily walkable with a very good location.

Room was clean, location is just perfect, very close to everything, elevator was very small (fits only one person at the time) overall good experience..

It was a nice location, plenty of restaurants and walkable attractions.

The entrance was in the middle of repairing. The elevator terrible, the room so small, the bathroom crqcked and leaking. I want my money back!

Cleaning staff were so great and so much more helpful than reception. Hotel is very close to many stores, restaurants, and places of interest.

Bus stop to town is across the road, the property is closed to a shopping complex, the property is very clean and safe. The owners have left very clear instructions on how to Access the property and other instructions inside the property. It will be better to get a phone call just to check on us, because I tried to phone but no one got back to me. I will definitely stay again.

Wonderful experience! From location, cleanliness, quietness inside the room, modern and big room. Staff was wonderful and helpful with anything needed.

Had two spend two nights in the mid of july with a heat wave that wasel hitting barcelona without air conditioning the first tine they told us that a technician is coning the other morninng to fix the ac the other morning no one came, then they told us they will do ut the other morning so they did.to add that the staff was not helpful and rude, he said he has no solution for us and he turned his back and left. NEVER AGAIN. To mention also, i contacted the hotel apparently the guy at the reception received my message and he told me you gave a feedback about me, however i have no approach from the hotel .
